I did not believe this item could do what it claimed it could do, but I ordered it anyway just to see. Oh My Gosh ... to my disbelief, it worked on my new rug SO WELL that I was astonished!! I had just purchased a new rug b/c my two dogs shed so much. Thus, the rug was fresh, with only 2 days of dog hair on it. I used the item, and on the first pull, I pulled up so much hair, I was stunned. It literally lifted all of the dog hair off of my rug so easily. Then I preceded to vacuum. My rug is now the cleanest rug I have ever had due to this device! I would highly recommend it to folks who have shedding dogs and want to keep their rugs super clean! It really does WORK!

It’s very sturdy and works very well on different types of carpet. I’ve seen it work on short rugs and long shaggy carpets each time. It has pulled up a tremendous amount of human and pet hair. I recommend for any household with rugs and carpets.

We have 2 dogs. One of them is a Saint Bernard/Great Pyrenees mix. She has long hair and sheds so much. We use a name brand "pet" vacuum and still have to unwind her hair from the beater bar.Pros:• Easy to assemble. Looks daunting until you read the directions.• Reinforced handle.• Lightweight.• Easy to use. Simply lightly rake your carpet drawing hair into a pile.• As far as I can tell it doesn't damage your carpet as it drags across the top of it.• Works great and gets up a lot of hair, more than I realized was there.Cons:• Wish I had found this years ago.• Seemed a bit pricey until we considered the money spent replacing vacuums over the years.We highly recommend this to anyone who is constantly dealing with pet hair.This is an honest review without any sort of compensation.

We have some admittedly old area.rugs that could probably stand to be replaced, but we've also tried to have vacuums that are supposed to be good for pet hair. I am still impressed by the amount of pet fur I have pulled out of our living room and bedroom rugs with this tool. To be fair, it doesn't seem to do much on a flat rug without much pile, but on two other rugs it is showing really great results. A vacuum is still needed for dirt and dust, etc., but it's great to have a quick option for fur removal.

Holy fluffing stuffing! This thing WORKS! I had a tiny hand held version and it worked, but it was tiny, and I blew out my shoulders and neck doing my entire room floor. I used this thing and in 30 minutes, I had the hair picked up. I use this thing to rake the hair in a line, then used a little vacuum I have to suck up the lime of hair. We'll see tomorrow if I'm sore. So far, 10/10, love it.

Love, love, love this product!! I couldn't believe how much pet hair I got out of my carpet. Proof my vacuum doesn't get everything. Every pet owner needs one!

Takes a lot of effort to get the pet hair removed. You have to scrape the rugs repeatedly if hair is embedded. It did eventually remove the hair but it’s not a fast job. Also if you have rugs or carpet with patterns that cause an uneven surface, it will take longer. Caution too that the sharp edges can pull/damage carpet threads.

I live in an apt and figured that my carpet would be nasty from the last tenants and all of my own hair I’ve shed. I vacuum regularly but bought this during prime days and figured I test it. I don’t have a pet and after using this on a small area of carpet it wasn’t the miraculous tool I thought it would be. For me and my lack of pets.However, with that being said. It did rake up some hair from the carpet. That was actually pretty good for the amount I shed and all the vacuuming I do. So it does work and will get the hair left behind after vaccuming.But it is a huge work out. I think this would be great for someone with pets as that is what is intended. But be warned it does require a lot of physical work to get it done. I can’t imagine wanting to do this over large areas of a house.The quality of this tool is amazing!! Probably the most well built and most thought out designed product I have actually bought in the last 20 years. There is a lot of strain put on the handle when you are raking it but it feels like it’s going to stand up to the work. The assembly is a little daunting, but with the instructions it was fairly easy to assemble. It’s worth it especially if you have pets.Even though I will be returning it for my situation, it still gets a high rating from me and in the future when I get a pet, I will be back to buy these products again.
