Good Grips Accent Mess-Free Salt Grinder

If, like me, you've been suffering for your art with an old wooden mill - there is and answer and here it is. There are a number of things I like about these which make them pretty much spot on for me...... in no particular order; They are good to grip... you hold onto the whole body of the thing and twist the grooved and grippy rubber end which provides a positive action; The shaft between the rubber handle and the actual grinder feels very solid - how it should be; the mechanism seems well engineered and crushes without any judder; the resistance between the handle and the body is none existent so all force used turning the unit is translated to the milling action; there is no interruption of flow of salt/pepper to the grinder; the outlet is at the top of the mill so there's no mess; the quality is robust and well finished; refilling is a joy - there's a huge unscrewable opening at the bottom of the unit. The granulation size is simply adjustable and from fine (it is very fine) through to coarse (very coarse) in 5 easy stages - I thought that this was a little gimmicky but it isn't - you can add a lot of salt/pepper while cooking and seasoning - and a fine powder at the table. They work so well and are so well made that I'm actually getting to quite like the design - they look a lot better in the "flesh" than they do in pictures....

This review echoes all the other 5⭐ ratings! I had some fancy electric salter grinders that despite doing there job well , ate batteries and needed constant filling! Like many we're changing things to be environmentally friendly and save money. I'd seen these grinders in a restaurant and took a photo, thanks to Google they popped up. Purchased here on Amazon as I couldn't find them in any local shops, despite asking nobody could order. . The grinders came pre filled which was nice , they've super easy to live with and to refill. Unscrew the cap in the base and that's it , fill up and screw back on. They hold enough salt and pepper to last well over a month of heavy daily use plus they deliver a great measure per twist ! The adjustment slide is nice and chunky while been a nice simple mechanical mechanism with visual dots and a satisfying slide into the next setting. Fine to course ! The grinding parts are ceramic and have dealt with pepper corns and rock salt like they're nothing. The twist grip is robust and is easy to grip , the size is great for elderly people or those with reduced grip. The Stainless coating is tough , they look great on the table and they're really satisfying to use as they're so well designed!

Excellent salt and pepper grinders. They are very stylish, easy to hold and they have different settings to adjust the grind from fine to coarse. Would recommend.

These work really well for grinding salt and pepper from fine to coarser granules. There is no mess as the seasoning comes out of the top. I've been looking for efficient salt and pepper grinders for ages so I'm pleased to find that the good reviews for this set are accurate. I would definitely recommend buying this set.

Superb high quality salt and pepper mills. I'm glad I spent some extra cash on these as I've been struggling with some crappy electric ones that just didn't cut the mustard. These ones are really easy to fill without spilling pepper corns all over the kitchen. Because they are stored "upside down" they also don't fill your cupboards with salt and pepper detritus. The grip on them is great as they have been ergonomically designed to fit the hand. They are easy to clean and look good on the table.

A decent quality set, as I'd expect from OXO. There's 5 coarseness settings with different size dots so you know what they're set to. I didn't consider they'd be preloaded with salt and pepper, so that was a bit of a pleasant surprise.

Easy-to-use condiments set with adjustable particle size for both salt and pepper. Solidly built yet still look smart on the dining table. This is our second purchase with the first one still working well after a couple of years - and they do not use batteries!

I ordered these OXO Salt & Pepper Grinders and love them. They work great, and they have 5 grinder settings and they have a nice weight to them and are easy to use. I also like that the grinder mechanisms are located on the top of the grinders. No mess like grinders located on the bottom. And it was a nice treat to receive them filled with peppercorns and salt!

I have one of these for salt, and it’s well built, works well, looks great It’s easy to fill, it’s transparent and has a great brushed steel finish. I decided I want the matching pepper corn crusher too, and found that it was cheaper when I bought a set , in a fancy black metal. So I bought those- meh, not the same, I kept holding back for months and finally got this, and now I’m satisfied. So, go for this, Oxo good grips almost always has given me a good product and this is one of their better ones. It works well, looks great and is easy to maintain. Buy this one- in brushed steel, don’t get the black metal finish that is cheaper when you buy a set, you’ll thank me later.

Great S&P grinders. When finished using they stand up with the grind ends upward. No mess. Also, because there is no S or P in the grind end when stored it's very easy to adjust the grind. No material blocking the change. We've been through many grinders both electric and manual. These top them all. This order was a gift for friends. We've been using ours for years.

I'd read some good reviews of these and they have not disappointed. You can get a good spread of salt and they grind the pepper well. Not much more to say other than yes I would buy them again.
