The clips are not as nice as I had hoped. You have to squeeze them to open and then pull them more open to fit around the rod. Then they don't close back to the closed position very well. It takes a little manipulation. And they scratch your rod very easily if you are not careful.

UPDATE 09/01/19Seller immediately contacted me to remedy the issue, upon discovering that I had not received a full set of shower hooks. Seller sent a replacement pack of hooks at no charge, even though I was 6 days outside of my Amazon return window. Seller instructed me to keep the extra hooks to use as replacements in the future, if necessary. EXCELLENT customer service. Highly recommend this seller. I am happy that my curtain can now hang properly. Hooks look great with the brushed bronze tension rod I bought.ORIGINAL REVIEW:These hooks are nice- the problem is that there are only 11 included and there are supposed to be 12. I just got to hang my new curtain because I just finished remodeling the room. My deadline ended 6 days ago. Of course it did.I can’t speak to how the metal holds up in the humidity of repeated steamy showers since I am using them in a bedroom.I just warn your to COUNT.YOUR.HOOKS to make sure you’ve received the correct amount.I am really bummed that my beautiful new curtain can’t even hang properly because I’m missing a hook. Ugh.

I bought these because I didn’t want to go to Home Depot due to coronavirus and buy these plus these were a few dollars cheaper. What a mistake these are so thin and light I was afraid they would not even hold up the shower curtain and the liner. I have three different shower curtains to change while I wash them or if I get tired of them. I always buy fabric shower curtains and fabric liners I do not like plastic ones. Fabric is generally heavier than the plastic curtains especially if their well made. These are thin, light and frankly look cheap for a few dollars more u could have bought the same type and style with more weight to them they are sturdy and well made these are not so save your money these are definitely not worth the price.

I prefer this style of shower ring as opposed to the hooks. After purchasing the pricey hooks with all the nifty & cute embellishments but having to deal with the frustration of them constantly getting pulled off the rod I switched to this type. They lock on and stay on until YOU take them off. They also slide across the rod much easier than the hooks do.

For the price, they are ok. They look as advertised and perform the desired function. I'm sure there is a decent margin on these for the seller because they are a bit flimsy in comparison to products that cost a couple dollars more. After placing them over a wider shower curtain rod, they will need to be compressed back down. Not a bad product, just be sure you're not expecting a sturdy piece. Think the tensile strength of a wire coat hanger. Either way, it shouldn't matter unless you are particular about fit and finish of shower curtain hangers.

Pros:- difficult to accidentally open- pretty sturdy once installedCons:- difficult to intentionally open- can accidentally break these while installing- will rust and give out so make sure you don't plan on moving any time soon (you will need new rings after a year or two but they should last longer than that given that they aren't opened)These things are strong when closed and are relatively weak when opened. Rusting prevents reuse given enough time and damp conditions in your bathroom.

These hooks are exactly what they claim to be. Rustproof, well made and attractive shower hooks. The balls roll smoothly on the rod and no signs of rust after six months. The finish is still like new with no signs of flaking. Excellent product for the value. I ordered a second set for the guest bath now that I am convinced of the quality.

I know something as simple as shower curtain rings may seem inconsequential, but these rings are really impressive. After a set of rings we'd had for about 8 years broke, we bought some new ones which were terrible. Didn't slide well, always came disconnected and caused overall frustration.I blamed them on being low quality, and bought a second set of rings that were more pricey at a local big box. Same story,they disconnected from the curtain, and didn't roll smoothly. With all the problems in the world, shower rings are pretty low on the list, but I was getting pretty frustrated at fixing shower rings instead of taking a shower. I came across these and they have been the perfect solution. The way these are designed allow for smooth rolling and are virtually impossible to disconnect from the shower curtain. Simple, yet fantastically made, can't go wrong with these.

They need a hinge on them – they're impossible to open enough to get them over your shower rod without breaking the thin metal. On my third attempt the metal snapped. It's also likely you will scratch your shower rod trying to get them on. Don't buy these.

Finally the bathroom was completed and I went to out up the shower curtain. The rings look great but I doubt they are stainless steel, seem more like pot metal. Very difficult to expand over shower rod and after one snapped I realized that the rings are made from base metal.

I wouldn’t recommend these. They have a weird fit, aren’t flattering, and scratched my beautiful new black shower curtain rod. I didn’t return but won’t be using them.

Can't get them onto my shower curtain rod. They're so tight! I pulled my rod right off the wall twice, then gave up. They're sitting on a shelf collecting dust.

Looks great! Colour is perfect but they are hard to get around the rod if you can’t take the rod down. Would buy again though.
