Good product, even works held underneath the dog spraying the dogs tummy.

Bought on a recommendation of a friend to detangle my show cocker spaniels mass of puppy fluff.It smells nice and seems to help detangle the knots that gather under the elbows from using a harness.The spray comes out of the bottle evenly.Just be careful if you are spraying it by a laminate floor when you groom them, as it makes the floor slippy.

Wanted something to get knots out if this boy. After reading reviews decided on Wahl and do glad I did. Smells lovely and really helps with his knots no tugging also his coat is in a much better condition plus I’ve only had it a couple of weeks. I do recommend this we are both happy with it.

Arrived promptly. Good value. Smells very nice but in use not really much better than spraying on water.

Works great on my poodle. He likes it too. Much easier to brush him and leaves his fur really soft! I bought the gallon sized one, shared with a friend

My dog's fur gets knotted easily. This seems to be effective.

I originally got this for my cat.Initially sprayed it onto his grooming brush but that was a bit of a waste because it’s very watery so it just ran off the brush and onto the floor.However, I’m lucky, I have a Maine Coon (15 months old) super easy going and been grooming him several times a week since I got him, so I just sprayed it directly on to him and rubbed it in. (Wouldn’t recommend you do that with your cat though unless you know they are okay about it!)The bottle is a good size 500ml, so represents good value for money, A LOT comes out in one spray though, for my Main Coon, 4 sprays and he was saturated!Because I groom him regular we rarely have much tangled, the little tangled bits we did have, didn’t find product helped, I really wanted it as a coat conditioner, but not really noticed any big change on that front either to be honest, he has a great diet so coat condition seems to look after itself and hard to improve on.It also actually hampered grooming him as his loose fur wouldn’t release, probably because too much was applied, scent wise, not much happening there.However, also happen to have two white long hair Sheppard’s, much coarser hair than my cat, and it did help with that, using same process, spray on, rub in, brush through.So it didn’t work for my cat, in fairness it doesn’t specifically list cat on the actual bottle either.And if your cat won’t tolerate being sprayed directly then your going to have a difficult time applying it.For dogs, yes, it helps a little, but not a life changing solution.I was thinking 3* but that feels a bit mean, 4* is appropriate on the basis:Good value and good size bottleDid help with the dogsWas delivered quicklyI’ve paid a lot more for a lot worse products.It’s a shame about the scent, if it had that going for it would have been a more solid 4*+ and I could say better than average and a very good price.Not sure if I would buy again, if there was a coconut option or something, then maybe as the price is good.I always find these types of products a bit hit and miss, works well for some and not just as well for others.The price point is very attractive though to give it a go, and I will try with the cat again, but use far less.Will update review if I find a balance for use with cat.
