Had these down on our lawn for over 3 months now to protect it from builders working on the property and its doing a great job so far. We needed extra parking for builders vehicles,including dump trucks and diggers to stop the grass being wrecked as its been so wet. They have done the job perfectly and I am able to run the lawn mower over them easily to cut the grass. They were really easy to put down and stay exactly on the spot. Even had a tracked vehicle go over them and they stayed in place.

Lovely rug but it does move and can crease. This may be due to the traffic flow through the house .

I live in a rain sodden part of Devon where the ground floods every winter. I used these mats in a hen run to stop the girls walking around in mud. I dug a pit and put 4 inches of shingle in and laid these rubber mats on top and tie-wrapped them together to stop them lifting up before putting hardwood bark chips on top. The girls can scratch in the bark but the soft rubber mats don't injure their feet if they get down that far. The mats keep the gravel and bark chips separate and the ground now drains really well, no more puddles or mud.

Purchased for a neighbour who is a dog carer. Every winter her lawn becomes a mud slide. Mats are impressively heavy and tough-looking, and supplied with the plastic pegs for securing. Fitting was straightforward: laid mats out. Used a spade and mattock to level the soil to lay properly flat, used cable ties to link the mat edges. Peg in the corners. Sprinkle soil through into any voids, then scatter some grass seed. I needed to trim one mat. They are quite tough, no progress with a Stanley knife, but managed with tin shears. Pleased with the result, consistency is like car tyres so should last and protect grass.

Good quality and nice and thick Super flexible

The mat is of good quality and provides fall safety and protects grass. However the pegs which are used to fix the mat to the ground are not robust enough and break easily.

I put them on top of a couple of old tarps with some wood shavings underneath in front of the caravan. Heavy weight and don't shift around. Really good buy. They don't say they can be used with horses but a friend has them in the gateways over some chippings so they don't sink, again to combat the mud in her horse paddocks and she also says they are great. Would Def buy again. Highly recommend.
