What is discharge mode?

As i understand its discharging when u apply the throttle pedal

Step 1: be sure to put the meter into the setup mode. 1. disconnect the power 2. holding the setting button (on the back) 3. keep hold on setting button and connect the power supply at the same time 4. no holding the setting button any more, you will get into the setup mode. "F" for lithium iron battery Step 3:press the function button (on the front) to choose the how many cells your battery pack have. Here we choose 4. Step 4: disconnect the power. Need setting advice to measure battery performance, using three batteries in parallel. two are 14 cell egos, lithium ion, and one is 16s iron.

I used this in the golf cart golf cart batteries are in series but it would probably measure it it’s fairly inexpensive there’s a button you press on it for the voltage you want to measure

My RV battery is in a case; i do i have to mount this unit inside the case?

Dear customer, No, it don't have to mount the meter inside the case. Just make sure, the positive wire of the meter must be connected to the positive pole of the battery, and the negative wire of the meter must be connected to the negative pole of the battery. You can put it in where you want.
