I have to say, I wasn't really expecting much from these, maybe make life a little easier when dragging furniture over carpet. However, having sat down after rearranging my living room, I'm surprised at just how effortless these pads have made moving my heavy furniture around!I've used them on my TV unit, which is a rather expensive and heavy unit, and still has my TV, computers, TV boxes etc on. And for a huge snake vivarium (5ft x 3ft x 2ft) which is filled with a fake rock background adding an enormous weight. Both of these items have been happily gliding across the carpet with minimal effort while I try to figure out the best position for everything.These pads have been an absolute godsend! I'm just amazed at how well they've dealt with the weight of the items on them and still allow easy movement. They don't look unsightly either, although it's a shame there isn't a choice of colours - black would have really blended in with my carpet and made them near enough invisible. But that's just a minor comment, and does not take away any praise for such a surprisingly​ good product.One of my better "chance it and see" purchases. Thumbs up!

These get a well earned 5 stars. Think of the heaviest items in a typical home: washing machine, fridge-freezer & dishwasher. We got them out of the kitchen using a furniture dolly. But these sliders meant that when we put them in carpeted room, we could still move them around. They reduce friction so well that moving these items was like having them on wheels. But its gets better. Putting these items back in position in the kitchen was going to be a real problem because of the risk of tearing the new vinyl. Now whilst these are not actually recommend for use on such flooring, I found that with a bit of furniture polish spray applied to the vinyl, is was like sliding them on ice! I did try leaving them under the washing machine feet but I do not recommend this as the foam inside these has a bit of give meaning that a fast spinning machine will vibrate rather more than it is supposed to.

These are so good that I bought a second set. We now have them permanently under our furniture, so they can be easily moved around. We put them under a heavy bookcase before loading it up with books, which turned out to be a really good decision when we later needed to move it from one side of the house to the other. My OH did this single handed, complete with all the books - impressive! If you're as strong as an ox and lift heavy weights daily, you might not see the need, but if you have back trouble, arthritis or any other issues that prevent you from moving things at the drop of a hat, they are wonderful!

I came across these when a professional carpet cleaner cleaned our lounge carpet. The first job he did was to put the movers underneath the heavy furniture which he was then able to easily move. I was so impressed I bought some and these are now a permanent feature under our dining table, desk and heavy coffee table. I can now move the items single handed without damaging the carpet. Brilliant!

This is the second packet I have ordered. I find them so useful and have recommended them to family and friends. When under furniture they make it so easy to move the furniture around. I have them under the feet of my sofa, bed, chest of drawers etc.I was helping my sister move a very heavy occasional table and told her she needed these pads. Once in position there was no longer two people needed to move it. It just slid so easy across the carpet. I would not be without them.

These are brilliant and I could not now live without them. They are such a boon if living alone, I find myself moving things with hardly any effort which I could not previously have tackled in any way. The beige colour is also a good and they hardly notice if staying in place. Well made product.

perfect for my needs.Office chair at home on a very thick pile.I used "MySit Bell Glides 5pcs Heavy Duty Replacement",to replace the wheelsthen cut away a small part of the foam on these gliders to accomadate thethe wheel replacement, roughed up the inner surface used contact adhesive to fit togetherand it works perfectly on this very deep pile and doen;t do damage or crush the pile permenantly

These furniture sliders make moving items around much easier, my sofa is so heavy, I cannot move it but these definitely help, I just wish that they could be sold in lots more colours as I have a silver grey carpet and if could match them I would leave them under the legs permanently, also the legs on my sofa are very thin and do not stay put in furniture cups, a combination would be great.
