A charming book of technique from a charming artist.Berit Hildre has her own unique style mostly based on subjects of childhood and young girls.This book has lots of well shot pictures of her work and methods.A google image search of the authors name will tell you if her work appeals to you.Not really the book you want for powerful aggressive male subjects, so research wisely.A beautiful but tightly focused book.

This is good guide for me as a complete beginner. Maybe a bit expensive when I saw it's size, but I'm happy with it.

Good book very informative for begininers a lot of interesting techniques

This is an excellent instructional book. The artist covers not only techniques in how to competently sculpt the human head and face in clay, but also common pitfalls to avoid. It's clearly presented and every page has valuable information, there's no 'filler' here. It's in my top 5 figurative sculpting how-to books, I highly recommend it.

A very interesting book with lots of photographs to copy from.

I have read a number of books giving instructions about modelling heads and for me this is the best. I have even laminated the pages so I can use it with clay fingers! I would thoroughly recommend this book .

I love this book,its so handy to refer to.It has step by step photographs on how to model faces,men , women, kids and expressions.I am a digital sculpter and find It very useful to refer back to. Worth the money.
