The perfect soundtrack to one of the best Stephen King adaptations since Shawshank. This subtle but menacing soundtrack really captures the wonder and terror of both the film and the book. Haunting pianos, stirring violins, overlaid with lush orchestration.This double vinyl looks great with gatefold including a note from the composer, and two black vinyl containing 14 songs on disc 1 and 15 songs on disc 2.

This is a great score for the film,captures the feel of the town,the innocence of the losers club and some creepy bits from the movie.I will always prefer the 1990 tv ost over this,but this being a modern take on IT the ost it has to be different.With 2 x vinyl lps and limited artwork this is the version to get!

Das Kino-Remake von „IT“ gefällt mir sehr. Er ist bei weitem besser als ich ursprünglich geglaubt habe. Besonders überrascht war ich von Benjamin Wallfisch`s Filmmusik. Sie gibt dem Film ein düsteres und doch irgendwie auch märchenhaftes Flair. Die Musik als solche bietet eigentlich nicht viel Neues. Vieles meint man schon woanders gehört zu haben. Dennoch, dieser Score hat Charme.Besonders das Main Theme „Every 27 Years“ hat es mir angetan. Es ist sinister und dennoch schön. Sinister und heimtückisch ist auch Pennywise`s Theme. Dieses Thema hat im Film sehr dazu beigetragen Es seine / ihre unheimliche Aura zu verleihen. Beverly`s Theme ist zwar knapp gehalten, betört aber durch eine schöne Piano-Melodie.Der Score hat wie gesagt, trotz der düsteren Horror/Suspense-Elemente ein eher magisches Flair, was an den mitunter schwelgerischen Melodien liegt, welche von einem großen Orchester getragen werden (siehe „Paper Boat“ oder „Derry“ ). Er hat auch viele rührend-emotionale und dramatische Parts. Wo der Soundtrack ironischerweise komplett scheitert, sind meiner Meinung nach die Horror-Elemente selbst. Wallfisch macht exzessiven Gebrauch von Kinder-Singsang und Kinderschreien, und laaaaauten Soundeffekten. Das ist eher nervig denn spannend und reisst zumindest mich persönlich immer wieder aus dem Score raus. Ein Komponist der dies in jüngerer Zeit weitaus besser hinbekommen hat ist Mark Korven mit seinem Score zu „The Witch“.Mit Ausnahme der im Film zu hörenden Songs ist das OST-Album mit seinen 38 Tracks komplett, was ich sehr schön finde. Sogar der „Pennywise Dance“ hat es als kleiner Bonus mit auf das Album geschafft. Der kurze, mit Orchester eingespielte Part von „Six Different Ways“ ist leider NICHT auf dem Album vertreten.Fazit:Dieses Album weis durchaus zu gefallen. Die Musik untermalt das Geschehen im Film nahezu perfekt. Losgelöst davon funktioniert er aber nur bedingt. Die nervtötenden Suspense-Tracks hätte man aussparen sollen, zumindest für das Album. Denn diese sind mehr Soundeffekte denn Musik. Dafür macht Wallfisch vieles mit seinen wunderschönen und magischen Melodien wieder wett. Am Stück lassen sich die zwei CDs aber eher schwer hören. Mir gefällt der Score dennoch über weite Strecken. Ich würde raten erst in das Album reinzuhören bevor man den Kauf wagt.Daher eine vorsichtige Empfehlung meinerseits.

Personalmente non conoscevo questo compositore ed ero molto curioso all'uscita del film chi fosse e come fosse la soundtrack.Piacevolmente stupito anche dalla confezione (2 cd per una colonna sonora sono rari) i cori sinistri , i violini l'orchestra e tuttoil sound rende benissimo le immagini del film di Muschietti dal romanzo di King !Consigliato !!

Die Neufassung des Filmes lebt eindeutig von der Musik.Alleine beim Zuhören bekommt man die ein oder andere Gänsehaut. Brilliant was hier komponiert wurde.Auch die Aufnahme und Pressung dieser Vinyl ist einwandfrei. Kristallklarer Sound. Und das Cover ist sehr schön designed.

oder doch eher Klangcollage?! Finde den score ziemlich zwiespältig. Er hat seine Momente wo er recht gut zu hören ist, aber davon viel zu wenig. Irgendwie packt er einen nicht richtig und ist dadurch sehr beliebig ja geradezu öde . Schade denn der Film hätte besseres verdient und vor allem mit mehr Tiefe und " Thrill."

La música de Benjamin Wallfisch es hermosa, aterradora, estilos que combinan a la perfección. El LP doble no trae todas las pistas de la versión en CD, pero cuenta con los temas más importantes y una buena duración

A great product but buyer beware: NO DIGITAL DOWNLOAD!! I am still pleased I bought a copy of the vinyl, as it is extremely cool and sounds fantastic. But had I known this, I might have just went with buying it on iTunes.

La portada es diferente , la oficial, es un disco muy bueno , contiene dos vinyl , y todas las canciones del soundtrack , realmente una buena compra y aún precio muy bajo.
