I am a Production Sound Mixer. These units are fantastic. Affordable and accurate. I can jam once in the morning and then not worry about it again until the next morning.Battery life? AMAZING. A single charge will last for days and the unit tells you how much time is left on the battery. You can also see the time remaining on the app.Ease of use? Super simple. The app is simple and functional. I didn't have to read up on it or watch a youtube video to figure it out. It just works.Pair these with a SL1 and you have a professional TimeCode system that rivals anything used in Hollywood.I have 6 of these units and love them. If I could have given them 6 stars I would have.

Love these little guys. They are absolutely perfect for a multi cam shoot. Ran them for two days in a row and there was still plenty of battery left over. Not a single issue on set. They sync up perfectly on their own, but the app makes it even easier. Be careful using the app however, as the Bluetooth will use more battery. After one use, it's easy to see you can set them and pretty much forget about it. Doing spot checks through the app seems to be the best way to check sync. Will absolutely be ordering more of them for future projects with multiple cameras.

For the most part the TC-1 system from Deity is almost intuitive except for a few camera-specific settings. But most of you are going to need more 3.5mm cables than the single one supplied and if you want one with a locking collar like the Deity cable in the kit, that's where problems begin. They are not available on Amazon, and getting Deity to sell you one or more is a challenge. You will end up ordering through a third-party vendor overseas...and that third-party vendor will then barrage you with spam promotions for dresses and toys and all sorts of things not related to Deity or videography. The basic product seems good, the customer service not so much.

You also get 3 camera shoe mounts with Velcro versus only 1 from Deity website.Amazing deal all for the same price on Deity direct with Amazon bundle providing more necessary cables and mounts.
