Do the job!
Delighted with these. Had a lot of mosquitos in our house attacking in the night. These candles smell great, seem to have done the trick and burn for ages!

Pretty good all round.
Obviously bought to use outside to hopefully keep flies away from food and drinks. As the weather has been nice just lately, they've been getting some use and seem to be doing okay. These are smallish tealights but the burn time is pretty good for the size. I think these are pretty good value for money.

Smelly but nice smelly. Burn out a little faster than expect hence why I took one star off. Good product overall

Small but powerful
These are perfect on our table in the garden. Cup of tea with cake and no bother from wasps. Highly recommended.

Don’t get bugged out!
I’ve seen citronella products for years, for some reason I assumed I’d hate the smell as my sense of smell is very acute. Last year we got bit worse than ever before. We were like all you can eat buffets for mozzies. It got so bad, once the light started to dwindle we’d make a sharp exit indoors, which subtracted from our summertime enjoyment. It can only be Likened to children going to bed way too early! This year we decided to bite the bullet and give them a go, to see if they really do work. I can confirm that they do work.We were able to sit outside until we had had enough. We noticed it doesn’t only keep the mosquitos away, it actually kept nearly all flying insects away. So, we decided to put one on in the kitchen to keep flies out. Hoping it would work, no matter how clean you keep the home, flies still somehow decide they’d like to come in when doors are open. We try to shoo them out before whipping out insect spray, but there are always pesky ones that refuse to leave, leaving no option but to spray them with the killer spray. We found we really like the citronella smell, so now we put one on in every room, not only do they reduce the number of flying insects immensely, they smell incredible too! It’s a win win 🏆We intend to use these in the summerhouse also, the only thing I’m wondering, is, would it be ok to put one in my greenhouse? I have mesh on the windows to prevent insects getting in and laying eggs on plants. At times, doors have to be opened on really hot days, would one of these in the greenhouse be ok with plants 🤷🏻♂️It would be a game changer.

They seem to deter some insects
These candles seem to deter some insects and not others. We recently had a kitchen extension built on our house so were without an external wall for a few weeks. That caused many dancing biting flies to come into the house, hence I bought this pack of candles to deter them.I lit 3-4 candles at a time and used them in the kitchen - while they did noticeably reduce the amount of insects entering the house there was still a nation of them.No other insects seemed to enter the house when the candles were lit so that's definitely a bonus but the biting dancing flies didn't seem to be too bothered by the smell. It is certainly not a strong smell from these candles but it is noticeable and if I can smell it then the insects will likely be repelled by it.Recommended but don't expect miracles.
