Humbrol 125 ml Acrylic Thinners

Brought to use as thinners for paint for an air brush, good size pot, seals well. Good value for money

Bought this to use with some acrylic paints used for clay painting. It works great to thin out paints that are slightly too viscous to paint finely with, and also for later brush cleaning. Very happy.

This is such a useful product to water down acrylic paint. We use for thinning it to throw the paint (in a container) at canvas for our particular style of art.

Great value and work well. However, it is a large bottle with no dropper attachment so not easy to use in small amounts when pouring from the bottle. Would be so much better with a dropper (like on Valejo paints). Am using a spare brush to transfer small amount - will probably look for a small cheap syringe to use going forward

I like acrylic paint as its easier to clean

I use Humbrol acrylic paints, with a brush, and it has become part of my normal painting process now to always add a few drops of Humbrol thinners to the paint (then a good stir) before applying. Less streaks, more even coverage, and more detail can be seen. I also use it to thin down acrylic varnish finishes, and it has the same great effect. Its reasonably low odour and a little goes a long way. If you are not an airbrusher, or are not using airbrush paints, then a decent thinner is also an essential in your kit. this one is one of the better options.
