Very good.
Very good product. I ordered these again as it took about ten days to be really sure they were helping, I have been on another brand for years but these are now currently my first choice. I have still a few of my original brand left should these turn out not so good but for now it's 5*s🙋

These really work: I’m amazed!
My digestive system had been completely haywire for more than a year. I’ve been making homemade yoghurt but it didn’t seem to do much to help, although I think it’s worth continuing; even small effects can be cumulative. Then I tried making my own kimchi which was so delicious I ate it at practically every mealtime, with a few sneaky spoonsful in between. The huge jar I made only lasted a couple of weeks! (I highly recommend making your own kimchi with authentic Korean ingredients, especially Korean chilli flakes, all available on Amazon; just as well as I live 100+ miles from a proper supermarket.) But although the kimchi was super-delicious it had a smaller effect on my digestive system than I’d hoped. Maybe I was expecting too much, too soon. But I’m certainly going to make more and, like the homemade yoghurt, make it a regular part of my diet to keep helping my system. But then, because I’d not experienced a massive help from either the yoghurt or the kimchi I looked for a supplement the keep building the benefits. I had to make a trade off between price — I’m a pensioner — and contents. I made a point of avoiding products that only made broad general claims about what they contained, looking for a brand that had a wide range of strains of bacteria. I don’t see the point of adding just one; how do you know that’s what your gut needs? Besides, a healthy gut contains lots of different kinds 0f bacteria so it made sense to choose a brand that had as wide a range as possible, for a price I could afford. (Some cost silly amounts of money, it seems.)I chose this brand and — because my digestive system was so chaotic — took the full strength recommended dose. And within less than two weeks it was very obvious that my system was responding, and responding well. A month on and everything is working so much better. I couldn’t be more delighted — or more surprised!I always take reviews for health supplement not so much as with a pinch but well over the daily recommended serving of salt. The placebo effect means people can persuade themselves that all sorts of things cure all sorts of ills. But I have to say that the way my system responded to these little capsules genuinely amazed and delighted me.So now (just this week) to give my new biome something to work on I’ve also started having porage oats every day. I like them just with cold milk and some (unpasteurised) honey stirred in. I prefer this at the moment to making porridge — I’ll save that for the colder weather — and there really is no need to soak oats, or pay extra for various kinds of ‘instant’ oats. Pouring milk is quicker than boiling a kettle! (But then because I am a Scot, yes, I add the teeniest, tiniest pinch-ette of salt to bring out the flavour of the oats) And, really, what could be more traditional than oats sweetened with a little honey? Except maybe sometimes adding just a tiny drop of a good malt whisky as a treat when I have them before bed: oats are renowned for helping with sleep. So not only have these little capsules made an enormous difference, as a result I’ve become more aware of what I’m putting into my system. (No, I won’t be adding whisky on a regular basis!) And I’ve been reminded of how much I used to love porage — or porridge for Sassenachs out there 😄😇 — oats as a child, cold or hot.My system working so much better, a prompt to improve my diet and happy childhood memories revived: not a bad result for a couple of wee capsules every day for a month!

Definitely live bacteria - won my confidence
I purchased these last week.Initially I test these using the milk test, to get a visual confirmation that the bacteria were alive and therefore doing what it said on the tin.On my first test, I put one capsule into some milk and left it in the cupboard for a day. To my dismay, it appeared they hadn't worked.I contacted the company about this, and they decently offered me a refund.I purchased another brand from a different company which only had 4 strains of bacteria as opposed to the 16 in this product. As an experiment I thought I'd test the other brand using the milk test and for the hell of it, I'd retest this product.I put two capsules of each brands probiotics into different glasses of milk, and also left an untreated glass of milk along side for comparison.I left all three in the cupboard for around 36 hours. To my joy, both brands had turned the milk into a yoghurt, while the milk was still milk. The type of yoghurt the other brand created was clumpy, smelled bad and tasted sweet and a little rancid. However, this prebiotic had turned the milk into a creamy smooth, and pleasant smelling and tasting yoghurt.Initially I had thought it was useless, so I am glad I re tested it against another brand.I think the difference between tests is that I only used one capsule in the first test, but two in the second. My confidence has been overwhelmingly restored.I also can feel that my gut dynamics are changing. I was getting diahorrea and other issues, and although more time is needed to see whether these will heal my gut, I can confidently say things are changing down there.I haven't had diahorrea yet, and I'm going to the loo more frequently.Definitely live bacteria, and the fact there are 16 strains means I may have more chance of finding a bacteria that may address what my gut (and therefore immune system) may have been lacking.I can whole heartedly recommend these probiotics, and they have won me now as a loyal customer.

Very disappointed...
With 16 strains I was hoping for better results, I have tried many probiotics and this one I found lacking in results. I was disappointed to see many positive reviews. I think people are so surprised with even a single strain probiotic the effect that it has on digestion that they don't look for anything better, and that is my theory as to why there are so many good reviews. There are over 400+ different types of bacteria in the gut, and even though this has 16 of those 400+ its not a good combination, it does not digest like other 16 strain like biokult do.

Difference straight away.
This is the only product so far which has actually helped my gut health. I felt an Instant improvement in my day to day and I can without a doubt feel it if I haven’t taken them. I cannot recommend them enough, they have been a life saver.
