These little lenses are the perfect size. I bought them as a joke (I mean, a magnifying lens, AND a 3" ruler?), never imagining that they would actually perform as advertised. I was totally surprised. When they came in, my son asked what they were for. I stuttered a bit, but finally said, "Fire starters?". He gave me a skeptical look, but, it was a sunny day, so he went outside to try it. Imagine my surprise when he came back in less than a minute later with a hole burned through his homework. Oops. They work. I gave them out to some of my friends, who really appreciate the portable size and magnifying ability. I didn't even confess my attempt at a humorous joke. But, I did keep 3 for myself (one in my purse, one in the glovebox, and one as a book mark). I still think they could make a hilarious gift, but they just function too well to be a joke.

I keep one of these in my wallet for when I need to read the fine print. It works great and after I whip it out to use, people think its a great product and want one too. I buy them in bulk because I end up giving them away to friends when they see me using mine.

They are exactly as described they work great the only thing I you know would like to see done differently would be if they were bigger a little bit bigger they were index card sized or slightly under half of page of a normal book that would be ideal size and maybe 5x instead of 4X then that would be ultimate I'd be going to pay a little bit more for them otherwise described. These are the flexible poly vynil compound flimsy and bendy. Won't shatter like the acrylic ones

I hate to admit I’m getting older and have a harder time seeing and reading some things. These come in handy in a pinch and have so many uses. Everyone needs one in their wallet!!

I purchased these as an addition to my preparedness kits as an emergency fire starter. For this purpose they work extremely well. I was able to get a small bon fire burning without anything else in about a minute on a somewhat overcast day. It also happens that I am getting older and occasionally it feels like typed fonts are getting smaller. These certainly help with that problem too. I keep one in my wallet all the time, and I gave away several as gifts. I plan to buy more as well.

Nice, convenient little magnifyers, but 3 were cloudy in the corners making it impossible to use for reading.

This is an ideal little visual aid for reading menus, microwaveable tv dinner instructions and similar where your normal glasses just don't cut . The lens and protective sleeve are thin so they easily fit into your wallet without adding unnecessary bulk. And you get a small pile of them so you can throw one into your wallet, laptop case, desk drawer, car center console etc. so you always have one handy.On business trips, I used to travel with a magnifying glass to use in meetings where we're reading financial reports on paper that should instead be zoomed in on a computer screen. These convenient little - but still generously sized - lenses do the job instead.
