Can this be used on any surface. I have a veneered shelf that I want to turn silver. Will this work? The wood o the veneer has been varnished.

Yes but it's best on porous surfaces so maybe paint it with acrylic first then put the rub n buff on the acrylic

Will this be ok to use on a central heating radiator? Is it affected by heat?

yes it will be effected by the heat and i really use it on a radiator as it never sets hard it is soft for as long as you leave it on anything if you want a permanent fix then mix it with pva glue wait until set before turning radiator on and i think that should be permanent then or simply make you're own glitter paint IE glitter PVA glue and rub n buff mix it well and start painting quick before it sets

Could I use this on a hand casting ? Baby foot and hand

Yes you can. It takes time as you need to wipe it on in thin layers using a cloth is good. Looks good once dry.
