Classic Ruled Paper Notebook, Soft Cover and Elastic Closure Journal, Color Black, Size Pocket 9 x 14 A6, 192 Pages

I have used these notebooks for many years now and have found them to be indispensible. This particular one is the soft cover version, though you can get it in the same size as a hard cover depending whether you are going to put it in your pocket or bag. The corners are curved, so they shouldn't catch on anything. There is an attached thin fabric bookmark so that you can keep your page, an attached elastic strap for keeping the notebook together and there are 23 lines on each of the 192 pages. The cover is black imitation leather and looks more professional than those cheapy notebooks that you can get at your local supermarket. There is a little pocket inside the back cover that is big enough to fit a credit card or train ticket. A very useful notebook for shopping lists or jotting down ideas for your next novel.

For me this is the classic Moleskin notebook - excellent quality soft cover and ruled pages.

For a notebook, Moleskins are perhaps on the expensive side. But having used mine for a couple of weeks now, i'd be unhappy to regress to a lesser brand. Durable and professional, the perfect size for ones pocket and a joy to write in. It's difficult to find fault in this product. The postal delivery was very quick too. Ordered on the sunday, arrived on the tuesday,(free delivery option). Also, never being in when the post arrives it was a delight to find that it actually fitted through the letterbox! Which the same can't be said for equally small items I have ordered through amazon...

Writing long hand is a dying art in the age of smartphones, tablets and computers. For those who like to carry a notebook to capture thoughts, ideas, poems or notes, the Moleskine Soft Cover is just the right size to fit in any bag, and the sheen of the acid free paper just loves being written on. I keep my pen in the notebook, which is held in place by the elastic closure, so I am always ready to write when the mood takes me.

Let's mention the soft cover since it is a complaint and the only reason I'm giving it 4 stars. I read 'soft cover' before ordering, but I didn't expect it to be so soft. I suppose my preference is hard-cover, even if it's a pocket notebook. Over time the band holding the book close is going to make the notebook bend/crease. This is an excellent everyday notebook. The pages are great Moleskine quality - I love writing on this paper. Ink does not seep through and pencils rub out well without the paper taking damage. The paper is not white but somewhat like a magnolia. I carry this practically everywhere to jot down anything important. I have bought the Moleskine Soft Cover Large Ruled Notebook for note-taking in meetings and it is excellent except I would suggest the hardcover version: Moleskine Folio Large Professional Notebook - Golden Yellow

I have a thing for notebooks, I wouldn't call it a problem per say but, anyway - tis well made and what one would expect at this price point. I do like them a little too much.

I have always used Moleskine and cannot recommend these enough. I use these in a professional kitchen as a chef. They are durable, handy, simple and they gave great service. These last a long time so are fantastic for keeping recipes and taking notes.

Well it's Moleskine so I expected quality and I wasn't disappointed. This is a great little notepad that will slip easily into a jacket (or shirt) pocket. With a generous 192 pages, this will satisfy the scribblings of the most verbose Sesquipedalian. There are cheaper imitations available - but they are exactly that so why bother? A nice finishing touch is the small pocket inside the back cover which is great for holding anything from shopping lists to business cards. If you want a quality pocket sized notebook with plenty of leaves your search is over.

I started my journal with Moleskine years ago. The paper was excellent with numerous sizes to choose from. The paper quality for fountain pens declined suddenly so I stopped using Moleskine. I have read recent reviews that the paper quality has improved substantially so this is a test purchase.

Carnet très pratique pour y noter tout ce que l'on veux , le format est idéal , n'y trop petit n'y trop grand, ce glisse facilement dans un sac à main , il est de très bonne qualité, la réputation de moleskine n'est plus à faire, à commander les yeux fermer.

個人的な好みですが、ハードよりも断然ソフトが いいと思います。 ハードは重厚な感じがしますし、持ち運びに 気楽さみたいなものがありません。 その点ソフトは持った時の手のなじみもあり、 何でも気軽に気楽に書けるようなフリーな感じがあります。 ただ、ハード/ソフトに関係ないとは思うのですが、 品質にバラ付きがあるように思います。 私は今は3冊目なのですが、2冊目のモレスキンは ゴムの緩さや、紙質がやや劣っているような感じがしました。 その点でマイナス星１つとしました。 それは大体、最初に手元に届き、パラパラとページを めくった時に感じる、紙のインクの匂いでわかります。 モレスキン独特の匂いがすれば、いい質のノートです。 逆に、何も匂いがしなければ(つまり2冊目は)、よくないの ではないかと思います。 以上、個人的に感じたレビューばかりですが、 このノートに今の所、致命的な欠点はありません。
