These magnetic locks for cabinets and drawers have been a lifesaver with our toddler around The adhesive is super strong so I didnt need to worry about screwing into the new cupboard doors Installing was pretty easy once you get the hang of it but I did find the instructions a bit confusing at first The functionality is great though just stick the lock sticker on the outside of the door and youre good to go

I don't usually take time to write reviews but these locks really impressed me that I thought I should.When they arrived and I opened the box I thought they we pretty nicely packaged and got that instant feeling of this is going to be a good product.The kit contains 10 locks with self adhesive pads, further spare self adhesive pads, a bag of optional fixing screws that are nicely sized and look like they would take a good hold, two magnetic openers with nice mounts that allow you to store the openers on non magnetic surfaces, and two mounting templates.The mounting templates make fitting the clips idiot proof. You fit the clip and lock into the template remove the sticky back adhesives and stick the clip part to the inside edge of the cupboard. Shut the door and the lock is then stuck in the correct place. You can literally have one installed in under 10 seconds. Theres also nice lock labels you can stick to the door to highlight where you need to place the magnet for opening. Stickers come in black and white so should cover all door colours.The adhesive backs are super strong and so far I see no need for screws. I fitted them straight away then let our toddler loose. He tugged and banged the cupboard door for some time before having a brief melt down when he realised he was no longer getting into the cupboard to pull everything out.We had cheap awful looking external strap clips before I bought these which lasted about 10 minutes before our son realised if he pulled hard enough they would just pull off. They looked absolutely awful as well where as these new magnetic clips cannot be seen when the doors are closed.I would recommend these all day long and for the price I'd say they are an absolute must have for any parent with curious children.

We have a 6 year old and a 2 year old. Our 6 year old has recently started to "make breakfast" for the youngest !! A delightful thought of course.... But we don't like him in the kitchen alone (especially after he fed raisins to our dog the other morning, leading to an expensive emergency vet visit .... the dog is fine by the way !)So I was looking for a door locking system of some sort, to secure the kitchen cupboards (and the high ones with the nasty stuff in, as he can climb pretty well now too !!)I spotted these and they had good reviews, so thought I'd give them a go.They work very well - I have to say. They appear a little flimsy, but once in place, they 'lock' the doors well enough that you won't open them without considerable effort and noise. I wouldn't say they are child-proof, but they are certainly child-resistant !The mechanism is released using a magnet, which is actually really neat & works well.The instructions for fitting are not easy to follow in written form, and the devices themselves are not intuitive when you first look at them. But there's an excellent video they've put on YouTube (and sent a link to by email) which demonstrates it well. Once you've done one or two, the rest go on in 60 seconds each - and it becomes quite simple to do. I used all 10 on various kitchen doors, and they took me about 30 mins in total, including time to figure out how to do it well. If I did it again, I could probably fit them in 10-15 mins.Only downside, once I figured out how to fit them, is that you can't necessarily fit them to all types of door. They also won't work on drawers or similar due to their design (which gets wide at the base). This isn't a criticism as it's not what they're designed to do. But something worth pointing out just in case.I tried to fit one to our integrated kitchen fridge, but there's not enough space between the concealed fridge door & the cabinet door, to allow the clip to be placed (it's only about 5mm wide, and the clip base is wider) - so I will need a different solution to prevent easy access to the fridge.But overall, a good quality product & very good value for money.

Brilliant Good value

These are so practical and neat. They're easy to set up and the quality is great. Perfect size and fit all presses. The best part is that you can't see them like normal child locks. They take a bit of getting use to as you forget they are there but once you get used to them they're great security to protect your little ones from causing harm and chaos.

Easy to apply. Works well. Good value for money.

This is a very good product I’ve got a new kitchen and a toddler that loves to open cupboard doors, I didn’t want to screw into the new cupboard doors the adhesive on this is very good and it’s fairly easy to install, the functionality is good with the magnet but would advise to stick the lock sticker on the outside of the door as it will be hard to find where to put the magnet to open it.

Great concept and works well keeping little ones out of the cupboards. Also discrete doesn’t ruin appearance of your kitchen etc. However product quality needs looked at. Bought a pack of ten which is what we needed. Two of the locks didn’t work when applying the magnet. One has also stopped working.
