Great starter kit
Tried this out as my first proper coffee anything, previously I'd only known instant coffee. The kit has everything you need included in the box and is very easy to use, makes a great cup of coffee too. The server holds just a bit more than 2 full mugs of coffee when full. The whole thing seems pretty sturdy, but if anything were to break I'd expect it to be the handle. Great purchase for a beginner's kit.

Pretty much perfect
I've no complaints so far. I was worried that because the v60 itself is the plastic version it would feel low quality but it doesn't at all, the glass serving pot is well made too as far as I can tell. Especially considering the price I really have nothing to complain about, it's a great introduction to pour-over coffee. I had thought that if I liked the method then I could upgrade the kit (to one of the glass v60s and a fancy matching server) but I really see no need to do that.

Works perfectly, nice size to use on a daily basis.
I've been using this for 3 months now to make pour-over coffee for 1 (2 or 3 cups on occasion), so far I find it perfect for that job.The dripper works fine, being plastic means it won't break/chip easily. The carafe has a pretty good size too, the markings aren't that useful to me but could be helpful as well.No issues with cleaning either, as a precaution I try not to dump very cold water into it if it's very hot (don't want to find out if that would cause it to break or not).Overall I found it to be quite good value for money, it's a "starter kit" but I don't imagine needing anything else soon.

A really nice simple way to make coffee
Even though the paper filters are an ongoing cost (I suppose you could buy a washable plastic or metal filter) this is a very inexpensive way to make 'proper' coffee. It helps to follow the instructions carefully or watch a YouTube video to get the best out of this system. And I think it helps to use a scale to get a consistent amount of water and a consistent drink every time. If you want to get fancy you can buy a swan necked kettle to get your 'bloom' just right, but there's absolutely no need to go over the top to get nice coffee. Getting the right grind size for the coffee is perhaps the most important thing.I think the glass carafe is very stylish, although mine doesn't actually pour very well. It's made of that super-thin glass so is probably fragile. There's a pack of filters included to get you started but you'll soon need more. You could easily use the cone over a single cup or another container. The carafe included will probably hold four cups of coffee at a pinch. It's a bit of a classic and for a reason – it looks good and works well.

A sharp learning curve however can brew a satisfyingly delicious carafe of coffee
After much deliberation I decided to take the plunge into manual brewing. The hario v60 comes with everything you need aside from the ground beans and a grinder. Both of which I'd already invested in. The coffee you can produce is some of the best I've ever tasted. It also helps wake you up as you'll have to start the day with grinding beans and warming a goose neck kettle before you prepare you delicious Java. Dare I say, it beats anything Starbucks could ever put out and truly extracts the flavors of the coffee.Tl:Dr; it's known as the best for a reason.

Good cafetiere replacement
I opted for this route to make coffee as a replacement for my cafetiere which was getting to the end of its life. Yes, it's a bit more complicated to make a pot of coffee but the biggest bonus is that I can now simply put the used filter paper in the bin. It's a large pot which I keep warm with my tea cosy! Easy to clean too.

Just add good quality coffee...
This is an easy to use pour-over coffee maker. With good beans, a little bit of research on proper technique, and some practice, you'll be able to produce excellent coffee at home. The V60 dripper is simple to use, but it does pay dividends to watch some of the online tutorials on V60, and to make sure your beans are ground to the correct coarseness. The size 2 V60 and 700ml server allows you to brew anything from a couple up to five cups. The plastic V60 is robust and easy to clean. The Server is fine, and also easily rinsed after use.The dripper is best used with original Hario filter papers to make sure that they properly fit the V60, so make sure to order authentic filters of the correct size when you finish the pack included.
