Bosch PTK 3,6 LI

I have found this Bosch Tacker very reliable and easy to use. It holds the charge very well indeed often for weeks at a time. I use it with the Bosch 8mm and 4mm staples. The magazine slides opens and closes easily and there is a viewing port so you can see when you are running low on staples. I use mine for a variety of tasks, from fixing upholstery in place to positioning and holding 18 and 20 gauge wire netting into softwood frames. The tacker is very handy when I don't want or need to hook up my nail gun. I needed to fix a 30m run of shade netting to the garden fence to protect the new willow hedge from foraging sheep. I used the tacker with the 8mm staples to fix the netting to the fence posts and thought that it might last a couple of months before requiring attention, but the netting has now been in place for two years! A very handy tool that you can easily carry in a large pocket and use with one hand. I highly recommend this product.

Great machine, so glad I purchased it halfway through trying to reupholster my wing back armchair. Initially I used a manual stapler but I struggled to push down hard enough for the staples to go into the wood. This little machine is sturdy, easy to use and doesn’t require brute strength. It’s light enough not to cause hand fatigue when stapling large areas. So glad I decided to buy it. Just need to find some more things to staple ……. Love it!

Great little stapler. Bought it to reupholster some dining chairs. The job proved too much for our old stapler which isn't electric. The staples just bounced off the wood base. Bought this Bosch and it works great. Used 6mm staples which worked every time. The Bosch is supplied with a box of 8mm staples. It takes a while to charge up. It looks and feels well made and sturdy and is dead easy to load up and use. It costs more than some alternatives but we offset the expense of having to have the chairs recovered by a professional, and now we have it we can do more jobs in the future.

I had problems with both my old manual Arrow stapler and a new one I had bought to replace it. I returned the new one and bought this one instead after watching some Youtube reviews, and I'm glad I did, because it makes the job so much easier.I use it with 8mm Bosch staples to stretch canvasses on stretcher bars. The Arrow staplers had trouble hammering in anything longer than 6mm in the tough wood the bars are made of, but this one hammers 8mm staples flush nearly every time. I would have given it 5 stars had it done it all the time :-)Having nearly emptied a 1000-staples box the first weekend, I'm really glad I chose this electric stapler. I charged it between uses so can't say if it'll do 400 staples on one charge as claimed, but it didn't run flat at any time.The tab that has to be depressed to make the gun fire is a safety feature but also serves as a neat guide for placing the staple very accurately when necessary.

First I bought a manual one that didn't work at all.. but... This works great! It's easy to use, you only have to press lightly on whatever you are stapling so you can do it at an angle on a door for example, and not pushing down on it.It comes half charged, and has its own charge switch off so as to prevent over-charge. It actually has many charge/safety features.It says to wear ear protection, because it is supposed to be loud. I suppose it depends on what you are stapling, but my job wasn't loud.5 Stars!

I usually write reviews after using products for some time. I had this stapler now for more than a year and I have use it for a few works which furniture repairs, fixing DPM on flower beds, preparing some canvas, etcTool is super easy to use, excellent stapling functionality and power, battery last a long time. Changing staples can't be more easy, so yes, it's an excellent tool, and it has exceed my expectations in every single work I had done with it so far

Superior in every way, can't fault this gun, safety features are spot on, usage well super speedy, light to handle easy to load. Perfect for me, I have reupholstered 4 dining chairs, a headboard and now a sofa, it's so much better than my last heavy manual one, well worth the investment.

This review is now updated after few months of using this tool. When you load a full magazine of staples the magazine can open when discharged. But this goes away after first staple.We use it for stapling stretched canvas prints onto the canvas bars. It works very well and now after few months of using it, we couldn't go without it. Battery last very long, but if you need to use it all day around you really need to buy second gun. So while one is in charge the other one is in use. Once you start using it, you will find so many uses for it, such as upholstery repair, or even strengthening picture frames.It's a must have in anyones toolbox.
