Q: Does this safely remove all corrosion and oxidation from all metals regardless of quality of the metal?

We use this product to wash the aircraft in our corporate flight department. To my knowledge it does not remove corrosion or oxidation. The confidence is knowing we are not adding corrosive materials in the wash process. We have found it to be very effective in removing exhaust stains, oils, and greases, while being very safe to painted polished metal, and plastic surfaces.

Q: Will this harm plastic?

I have soaked aluminum, rubber and chrome parts with no deterioration. However “plastic “ is a very general name for many types. This is an excellent product which meets very stringent aviation requirements. You should log on to the Simple Green website and read the MSDS and information sheets for guidance.

Q: what's the dilution ratio? I have a parts washer that takes 2.5 gallons of liquid - is it 1:1 ratio or what?

I haven’t used it in a parts washer but normal dilution is anywhere from 10-25% depending on the strength desired. This 5 gallon should last a bit in that application. I used it at 30% with distilled water to remove 35 year old baked on 2 stroke exhaust and grease. Part looks like new.
