Excellent Cleaner for Electronics & Electrical Connections
I recently used this contact cleaner on my switches, relays and small circuit boards, and it worked brilliantly. It sprays easily with precision thanks to the Smart Straw, cleans away oil, dirt and condensation very quickly and, importantly, leaves no residue. According to the manufacturer it removes over 95% of common surface contaminants and is safe on plastic, rubber and metal. It’s become a go-to product in my toolkit when servicing electronics and electrical panels — I can rely on it to deliver a clean, dry finish which helps improve contact performance. Highly recommended if you want a quality solution for maintaining switches and connectors.

Good quality conract cleaner
Totally impressed by this product as.it it really good at cleaning delicate connections and contacts such as potentiometers (knobs), switches and phono/headphone sockets with ease and without damage. It is quick use simply spray a very small quantity on the contact area to clean - moving the switch will also help. Wait a few seconds and the dirt and residue will be lifted away as the product evaporates completely. I have purchased before because it is such a good product, economical in use and doesn't damage the electrical components.

works very well and has a lot of uses
It works very well as is non conductive and a great degreaser, it works well as a fast drying "lubricant" to quickly position materials/items that need to be degreased and clean for their final seating positions. I use it all the time at work for cleaning circuit boards, flushing out hose pipes for flue gas analyser cells gas manifolds, cleaning flux from usb ports, and for automotive use it's fantastic at cleaning out electrical connectors. It isn't as strong as a defattening agent as pure isopropyl alcohol but as a pressurised aerosol the pressure helps displace some large deposits and like pure isopropyl alcohol it evaporates quickly in open air. Good stuff but rather expensive

Great stuff - needs to be a little cheaper
The WD-40 Specialist Contact Cleaner Spray is a must-have product for anyone who uses electronic devices. This spray is incredibly effective at cleaning up dirty or malfunctioning controllers, such as the ones found on the Oculus Quest 2. One of the standout features of this spray is its ability to tackle tough problems like stick drift. If you are experiencing issues with your controller, a few sprays of this contact cleaner can often solve the problem quickly and easily. It is easy to use and dries quickly, making it a convenient and effective solution for anyone who wants to keep their controllers in top shape. While the WD-40 Specialist Contact Cleaner Spray is an amazing product, there is one drawback that potential buyers should be aware of. Namely, the price of this spray is somewhat high compared to similar products on the market. This can make it a bit expensive for frequent use, especially if you need to use it on multiple devices. Overall, if you are looking for an effective and easy-to-use contact cleaner spray, the WD-40 Specialist Contact Cleaner Spray is definitely worth considering. It does an amazing job of cleaning up controllers and solving issues like stick drift, making it a go-to product for anyone who wants to keep their electronic devices in top condition. While it may be a bit expensive for some users, the results are well worth the investment.

Brought Two Dead PCBs Back to Life — Excellent Contact Cleaner
I’m genuinely impressed with the WD-40 Specialist Contact Cleaner. I used it on an old TV PCB and a laptop PCB that were both having electrical issues, and after a thorough clean with this spray, both devices started working perfectly again. It cleared out dust, residue, and oxidation far better than I expected. The spray is easy to control, dries quickly, and doesn’t leave any oily film behind. I also appreciate that it evaporates fast, which makes it safer to use on sensitive electronics. It’s great for precision cleaning without the worry of damaging components. Pros: Restored two faulty PCBs back to perfect working order Fast-drying and residue-free Easy to apply with great control Ideal for delicate electronics and contacts Cons: The can empties faster than you’d expect if using it for larger boards Overall, this is a fantastic product for anyone working with electronics. It’s now a permanent part of my toolkit.
