Clears dirt/grease/oil easily, Way better than i thought it would be
WOW way better than I thought it would be I thought this might make an average job of the oil in the engine bay, but it cleaned everything way better than I expected, This stuff is excellent for cleaning under the bonnet. I put the liquid into a spray bottle, sprayed it on and left it for 30 mins then used a jet wash on low pressure and it cleaned everything off, no scrubbing with a brush at all. I was honestly amazed I have also used this on my alloys and it gets all the dirt off the wheels and tires. For the price and being 5 litres, it is amazing value, We have even used it on our mountain bikes and it cleans all the dirt and grease off them with ease. Even the dirty patches in the driveway have gone after a quick spray left for 30 mins then jetwash I will make sure I always have this stuff in the shed You may think "yeah right, it's not that good" but honestly, it is, for a tenner you cannot go wrong. Try it and I'm sure you will agree its better than you thought 10 out of 10 for this stuff

Great alternative to other expensive brands for cyclists
I bought this to use on my bikes (cycling) chains etc. I'd used Muc off for ages but was getting a bit miffed at the price of Muc off. I can't complain at Muc off as it's very good stuff, just wanted to try something different. I used this with a Park Tools chain cleaner/ Was really amazed at how clean it got the chain after just a few turns of the cogs. But after you removed the chain cleaning tool you will need to hose the chain off to get rid of any buccles and soap. I thought that if it did such a good job of the chain I'd put some into my old Muc off spray bottle and give the cassette and other oily working parts a coat. Left it for about 10 minutes and hosed them off to be left with clean and sparkly cassette, crankset and wheels. (Wheel rims dod need a quick rub) All in all I'm chuffed to NAAFI break with this (you ex squaddies will get that one) because it's good value, you'll use less (just you cyclists I mean) than Muc off and it does a cracking job of cleaning oiled componants on your bike. I should point out that the oil used on cycles is more viscous and easier to shift that motor vehicle parts oil. It comes under less stress and attracts less carbon and road deposits than cars do. This may account for its effectiveness on bikes and not so good on cars as explained by other reviews. Also, we cyclists tend to clean our chains after a few rides and after any wet ride too so this may also account for it's ease of use.

Perfect, DOES actually work, DOES require rinsing.
I think people are kind of misunderstanding what type of product this is. Contrary to some peoples' brash assumptions, it *is* a degreaser. I know it is because I've used it to clean my whole motorbike, including the swingarm, wheels, shock and degrease the chain. It worked a treat. HOWEVER. It isn't an evaporating or residue-free degreaser like some others, hence some comments about it being 'soapy'. Where (for example) Fenwicks Concentrate is a non-foamy watery product, and aerosol brake cleaners will simply evaporate off leaving no residue, this one DOES foam a bit and produce suds. This makes it really useful for brushing onto surfaces and small fittings. But it NEEDS rinsing off with water (cold water, for various reasons you should always be using cold water). When brushed on, left for a minute to act, and rinsed off with plain water, it works fantastically well. It isn't the kind of degreaser you just lightly throw on a surface, come back a minute later and the dirt is gone. It's a soapy product for heavier jobs, but if you use it correctly (brush on, wait, rinse off) it's VERY good. I don't know what else to say to convince you; the proof's in the pudding, and my recently-filthy bike is now spotlessly clean (and it was real, black, oily grime, too, not just mud and dust). So if it didn't work for you, you're doing it wrong. A point of comparison: I've also used Muc-Off's similar dilute bike cleaner and Fenwicks concentrate cleaner at various dilutions, and this one is far more useful than both of those simply for how soapy it gets. It spreads over a larger area, runs off less and stays on a surface better to penetrate more. The corollary of that is it does need rinsing off more thoroughly and promptly.

It's GUNK, so of course it's good.
It's GUNK, probably the market leader in engine degreasing. So, obviously, it works very well.

Decent value ok results
You get a lot of degreaser for the price, which is great for bulk use. However, it only does an okay job tough grease might need extra effort. Good for light cleaning, but don’t expect heavy duty results.
