InvictaSpeedway Stainless Steel Men's Quartz Watch - 39mm

Is it a Rolex Daytona? No. Is it a fantastic watch with the look and feel of a Rolex Daytona at a fraction of the price? Absolutely!This is my third Invicta watch and all have represented great quality at a very modest price point. One thing I will say is the official stock photos NEVER represent the actual watch! From the photo you would assume the gold is a matt gold-tone of some sort but it is in fact proper bright 18ct gold plating. The brushed stainless steel parts of the watch have an almost gun metal grey appearance which really sits well against the bright gold plating. The case sides are polished to silver mirror finish and the Invica logo is engraved on the left side (perhaps unnecessary). The movement is a quality Japanese component and the chronograph works faultlessly, with 24h, lapsed seconds and minutes (stopwatch). Crown and pushers are screwed to provide water resistance but this is something I'm unlikely to need on this particular watch. I'd assume showering and swimming would be absolutely no problem though. The bracelet is comfortable, well made and adjustable both by removable links and a micro adjustment on the secure, reliable clasp.In conclusion this watch is definitely worth the price paid and looks and feels of high quality. Comes in Invicta's usual yellow watch box which has a nice presentation feel with warranty ect as well as giving the watch plenty of protection during transit. If you like the watch buy it, the quality speaks for itself!

After five years of non stop wearing of my Invicta pro diver, though it still gets admiring enquiries, I thought I would treat myself to this one. The Speedway is Invictas version of the Rolex Daytona, whereas the pro diver is their version of the Submariner. The pins on this watch were a pig to get out but i managed it eventually, but i would recommend you buy a good quality pin removal tool if you need to take out a link,as my cheap one broke during the excercise. In regard to the watch I would say that the quality of the finish is still up to Invictas usual standard and the time keeping is immaculate. I thought before it arrived that it might be a bit on the big side, but it actually looks slightly smaller on than the pro diver; though the case size is actually the same. This is an ideal watch for "going out" as it is a bit blingy. A second hand Rolex with similar tones will cost you £11,000, so I reckon these are a snip at under £100

Have an Invicta Pro Diver vewry happy with it thought I will give a Speedway a go as I do need a chrono function sometimes. Speedway is a great looking watch with Rolex Daytona overtones but is a p[iece in its own right build quality good, the screw downs for pushers not too fiddly to access chronograph function, that's where it all goers wrong the chrono function is not on the main second hand its on the small seconds sub dial rendering the Tachymetre markings on main dial useless. Sadly its a return for me. Had to drop a star due to chronograph being on small dial.

This watch is an beautiful item, very well built and is one of the best bargains I have ever had on Amazon, i had to remove 4 links to fit me but when i did it fits exactly right for me, I have had experience where a watch is too loose and taking off one link makes it too tight, this one is perfect and if you do have that problem with your wrist and this watch it thoughtfully includes minor adjustment pins on the clasp - bracelet links so you can adjust accurately to what seems to be half or quarters of a link lengths. I have read some reviews complaining about the second hand indexing in the middle of each mark but this is complete bollocks, mine was off slightly when I bought it but you can adjust it easily with the buttons on the side, read the short manual that comes with it and you will see how to adjust the hands.Overall this watch is stylish, durable and comfortable to wear. it is bigger than the picture shows and has decent weight without it being difficult to wear, taking off some links makes mine about 160g so its in between light and comfortable and a big chunky watch.

Having previously owned a Speedway until last year I knew I was getting a good watch so to find a replacement at this price was a no brainer. Homage to a Rolex Daytona describes it well, but this watch is proof positive that even homage can be exceptional in it's own right. Perfect for any occasion. Great with formal attire but also great to throw on with a tee...Just such an exceptionally pretty watchI purchased a (used) version....It came well packed with box, links etc....Almost as new other than slight wear and tear on the box/pillow...I sold my old one without box and spare links and not quite as clean for more than I paid for this one and I regretted it...So great deal and happy to have a Speedway back in my collection.

looks gorgeous, worth the money! I got same day delivery! so that was a bonus haha, (have prime) only possible downside.. the clasp/ locking clamp thing is way too stiff, I actually had to use a mini screwdriver to wedge it apart. Also.. the pins on the chain were smaller than usual... which forced me to have to buy a whole new kit, (I used to use a tiny screwdriver, but the screwdriver was too big for these. Otherwise, everything is brilliant, haven't found a fault with it yet... however only been a few hours.Edit: after a month or so of using it, the gold had started to rub off, it looks rather bad. and I did not stress it out, I would wear it maybe once a week in the shower because I would forget to take it off every now and again, and although there is nothing wrong with the face or dial, the chains look really... used and worn, (and scratched!) after literally a couple months of using it. Bearing in mind, I look after everything I buy, I haven't scratched it so idk why it looks scratched.
