Securely holds nib...and a dream to use!
Fantastic holder...there is nothing to dislike and everything to love. So well made, comfortable to use...it's as if you hold air! One more thing: there is a cap with it to protect the nib; a small item but a most useful, well-thought out one. Thank you for such prompt service, and the item so well wrapped. To coin a phrase...I'll be back for more!

Professional Inking
The item arrived faster than expected! It came the long way from Japan to Scotland within only a few days. The nib holder has a cap to keep the nibs in use safe (and to prevent people like me from stabbing themselves when taking the nib out of the pen case), and the blue part makes sure you can hold this pen for long times without it becoming uncomfortable. I'm super happy with this purchase. This nib holder is so much better than the standard plastic ones (or the simple wooden ones) you get in art stores here. I'm a professional artist/illustrator and will be using this for work, hence was happy to pay the price. (Note that the nib in the picture is my own and doesn't come with the pen.) ありがとうございます!

hold me, don't let go - said the nib to the holder - i've got you nib nib, i've got you
Tired of holding nibs between your fingers?, dunking in a bucket costing thousands and getting ink under your nails. Scratching away while you splodge and smudge your way across the page because you love birds and vehemently refuse to chase pigeons through town only to assault them for their beautiful mite free feathers to sate your bohemian dip pen fetish that absolutely isn't anything to do with wearing super cuff sleeves at the same time. Look no further, this little bad boy is a bargain and will hold on to your favourite nib like a perfectly durable holdy thing. Blue is the colour for the sassy little silicon finger retention system which works perfectly with any finger combination. Size is perfect and much bigger than the little pic when viewed on a really old phone. Picture also doesn't do this beaut justice, it has a nice varnish finish on it, just by glancing you can see it has been finished by a french polisher, you know, those old fashioned serious guys with a brief case for their shiny wood stuff - this thing is slick and shiny in all the right places. You should definitely buy one - listen out for the cheer from your nibs may your lines be inky sick burp free, happy hatching.

Good Quality Pen
Comes without any nibs but that was fine because I had some already.

Comfortable to use and versatile
I've tried this with both the Comic G nib and the Maru nib and it holds both well (the G nib does wiggle very slightly but it has stayed in so far). I usually use a Hunt crow quill and this is much more comfortable to hold for long periods. One thing to mention is it can be a tight fit in some ink bottles with narrow necks but if you use a separate inkpot/inkwell this shouldn't be an issue.

Fits a small crowquill nib and more
Didn't know that this would fit an EF 66 nib, which is a tiny nib. From my research, it does and is ideal. You have to use pliers to adjust an oblique pen holder and insert it correctly. My previous attempt failed and therefore would 'catch' the paper stock. I like the nib and now overjoyed that this penholder will fit it. Plus m sits nicely in the hand and the rubber section helps to grip it more securely.

Holds nibs securely and easy to use
Brilliant for holding my nib collection and so much easier than traditional holders (which I still don’t understand how they are meant to hold a nib!)

Not quite what I expected.
Only my personal opinion. A little thicker than I like to hold. I prefer thinner pens when doing artwork. And wasn't very snug a fit when holding my nibs. Expected a more Rubery end than the plastic it is. Feels a little loose. Nice wood and quality, why I gave it 3 stars.
