It's expensive but very good and waterproof
I use this to seal the paint or filler on ceramic/porcelain repairs. Sometimes I add a very small amount to the paint to create a smoother paint with more resilience. It's waterproof and clear and goes on without showing most brush-marks (although they are still there if you look closely, maybe that's down to the brushes I use). It is expensive but it was recommended to me by a ceramics repair teacher and it's better than others I have tried and it lasts a long, long time if you keep the lid on.

Sealing ceramics after a repair
I bought this product to be able to apply over the surface of a relatives treasured plate after I repaired it. One of the kids smashed the plate and it needed to be glued and filled but the ceramic glaze shine also needed to be there to make the repair even less obvious and this did the job perfectly. I stoved in the oven at 100° for 45 mins between coats and the finished result is a perfect ceramic glaze. It will have many other projects in the further I’m sure and the little bottle will go a very long way so definitely worth having.

Not the product in the photograph
The product itself is very good the only problem being that it came in a tin like a paint tin rather than a screw bottle which I would’ve preferred.

Fantastic Finish
A little goes a long way with this water based glaze. I discovered the product when I was restoring an ornament which had losses that needed to be filled, painted and finally glazed. A small amount mixed in with the acrylic paint I used also made the paint stick a little better to the repaired areas.Have since used this glaze to finish some smaller projects which has given them a fantastic shine and intensified the paint colours. It's fast drying and a very effective glaze for your projects.

Perfect
Does exactly what it is supposed to, easy to use, no acrid aromas, water soluble so easy clean up. Dries fast and is indistinguishable from a proper china glaze. Jolly pleased.

SERIOUSLY BAD PACKING
Arrived in an Unsealed OPENED Box, with no paperwork, NOT in a plastic screw-top container as shown in the advertisement which sounds trivial but was what I needed. I was lucky to get the item, so let's hope the product is better than the dispatch.

An expensive import from England, but the best cold glaze for damaged and repaired porcelain.
Repaired a broken lamp with Milliput putty, then repainted but don't have the facilities to reglaze. So used this cold glaze on the repaired project. A good product for this very last, and crucial, step.

A Good Quality Glaze
This is well worth the money as it is a good glaze perfect for the job I bought it for which was glazing unglazed ceramics which I paint. I would recommend this product for jobs where you need waterproof gloss coating for ceramics which can't be fired.
