Gengigel Mouthrinse, 150 ml

My gums started to bleed a bit a few years ago so I started using this mouthwash. I love it. It’s my go to and has been for years. It leaves my mouth feeling very clean, and my gums haven’t bled at all in that time, and my dentist always comments on how healthy my mouth is!

Recommended by my hygienist for sore gums. Less harsh than other mouth washes. Quite pricey but does seem to work

Bought this recently after reading rave reviews online. I've been noticing receding gumlines on some of my teeth, where the gums had started to peel back and expose the root. I don't suffer from gum disease and the gums had receded purely from over-excessive brushing.I've been using it for 4 days and already my gums do look pinker and healthier, whereas before they had looked fairly angry where they were receding. I'm not holding out any hopes for gum "regrowth", but my gums do seem firmer and the recession less noticeable. Hopefully by the end of the 4-week course of Gengigel (both mouth rinse and gel), I will be much happier with the way they look and feel! The mouth rinse is very gentle- it does have a slightly strange (but not unpleasant) taste, and makes your mouth feel very clean. I much prefer it to Corsodyl, which is very chemical in taste, plus Gengigel has the added bonus of not staining your teeth.Incidentally, I also had a rather large mouth ulcer near my tonsils when I started using Gengigel a couple of days ago, which was giving me lots of grief and didn't seem to want to go anywhere. A couple of days of mouth rinse use and it's gone completely- which is much better than any other mouth rinse/anti-ulcer product I've used. Bit expensive, but well worth the money so far.

hmmmm ok, so i've had a lot of problems with my gums of late all down to a wisdom tooth exploding.I bought the gengigel as well which i left a review for.I wouldn't say this soothed my mouth at all.The taste isn't terrible but it also doesn't leave you with that minty fresh taste in your mouth that we are all so used to!I will probably use this once i've had the surgery to remove the dam wisdom tooth as it's supposed to help after surgery.But i picked up collgate total pro gum health mouth wash, which is FAB! you can get it in asda and it doesn't cost much compared to some of the mouth washers out there that are supposed to promise you the world! and new sparkling white teeth over night!The collate stuff really does work, if you have sore inflamed gums or suffering with loose teeth because of gums wearing down go n buy the collate stuff, its excellent, it totally cleans, soothes inflammation and i found completely cleared up my torn gum around my wisdom tooth. go buy it.
