Beautifully made quality puzzle... But the grass & sky would challenge a 10 year old's patience!
Found this to be a very well made puzzle bursting with colour with great solid pieces that fit really well together.It was great fun to build and the grass/sky gave it a (for me) nice challenging edge over what would have been a fairly easy/beginner puzzle otherwise, advancing it to more of an intermediate puzzle.The grass and sky might prove too much of a challenge for young children and be too testing on their patience as you have to be very methodical. (Hint to help a little: Do it in good lighting as the sky shading does get darker towards the top, but this is only really well visible in good lighting).

Be prepared for the large areas of blue & green
Love to do a puzzle now and then, when I saw this one I thought it would be a good idea to do with my boy, all was going well until we got to the large area of green at the bottom and the large area of blue at the top of the puzzle, youl find these pieces fit very easily together... although their not actually ment to go together. We got 3/4 of the way through and gave up, we honestly couldn't tell which green connected to which green or which blue connected to the other blue, its alot of all exactly the same colour once you've completed the mario gang in the middle

Really good jigsaw
As a fan of Mario I had to get this jigsaw. The art on the box is lovely and the pieces are small, but just right to assemble. I soon assembled this jigsaw and would highly recommend it.

Very bright.
A nice bright jigsaw but the green grass and the blue sky is very difficult.

Edges suck the fun out of this
I have to agree with other reviewers. The centre part of the puzzle is fun to complete but the endless blue sky and green grass to the bottom and sides sucked any joy out of doing this. My 6 yr old son and I enjoyed putting the characters together over 2 evenings but gave up on the edges as the pieces are cut so similarly making it near impossible to identify the correct pieces and tedious to continue. This spoilt what would otherwise be a great jigsaw.

Great quality jigsaw.
This is a very good quality jigsaw. I would definitely say that it's not for very young children to complete on their own as it's quite difficult so they would probably need help from someone older. Overall I would highly recommend it as it's well worth the money. You even get a free poster with it too.
