Cute little bread bin , very cool nice design, trendy, especially for a small place apartment , its simple & easy to clean, & stores alot , really cool 😎

Bought originally as a anniversary gift, sad I know. The box is stylish and practical, however the problem comes with the lid. It's quite thin bamboo that is prone to warping. As a result will not fit very well after it is washed then dried without oiling it beforehand. So suggest oiling the lid when purchased and do not put in a dishwasher. Treat the lid with care and perhaps don't use it as a cutting board. Apart from that all good.

The bin is large and easy to clean and the lid is also a bread board, although it is fine as a lid but not robust enough to use constantly to cut bread as it is only thin. Perfect for storage purposes keeping kitchen worktops tidy.

Sturdy, looks good, and holds enough of bits and pieces of all bakery items, including slice pan of bread.

This product is available in medium and large sizes. I purchased the large size. Somehow the word 'large' implies 'big enough for pretty much any loaf one might care to buy or make'. There are many people who make their own bread, and use Panasonic machines to achieve this. Had Bodum bothered to properly trial and test their bin, they would vary found out very quickly that a standard loaf is about 5mm taller (lying on its side, which is the shortest dimension) than the internal depth of the bread bin. This means it is impossible to put the lid on the bin securely with a loaf of this type inside - and that's with the 'large' size bin, for goodness sake! This is illustrated in the 2nd and 3rd photos - plenty of space for creepy-crawlies to get in. The other problem is the sides of the bin warp inwards. See the 1st photo, where the lid, which is has straight edge, is placed beside the shorter side of the bin. The same problem happens with the longer side - it's just more marked. This means it is difficult to replace the lid on the bin, even when it is empty. Should you want a bin that only takes small loaves, and which has a difficult to fit lid, the Bodum will be right up your street. In not, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

Great size, it holds a full loaf and doesn't take up too much space. I also have the smaller size which sits on top of the large one, together they are just right for me. Quality is very good and the item looks smart in my kitchen. Another plus is that it's really easy to clean. The wooden top can be used as a bread board if you wish.

Looks good, big enough and easy to clean. The wooden lid has given me and my husband a few splinters now so we handle with care. Definitely can’t use the underside as a bread board due to splinter between the grooves. I have a few bodily pieces in this range but might have been tempted to buy something else due to the finish.

Not sure if it's now it was stored or transported prior to purchi, but it's a struggle to get the lid on. It's the plastic that is warped, not the bamboo, and it was like this out of the box. It looks good though.

Diseño fantástico y de gran calidad, a nivel funcional, poco a decir, es una panera y cumple como tal ;) . La tapa sirve a la vez como tabla para cortar, pero es una pena darle ese uso por no marcarla. En amazon bastante mejor de precio que en otros sitios.

And it has the top which can be used as a bread board with an added bonus of a air opening. Closed - no air - open and your bread won’t get mouldy. Depends on weather. It looks awesome. It’s practical. It’s a great kitchen add on. No need to this! 😊😊👍

Perfect size for my counter ( I don't have a lot of counter space) great design, so nice it comes with a cutting board which doubles as the lid, nice and light . Its perfect for me and happy I made the purchase.
