Sturdy and durable
I was attacked in my home by an ex-boyfriend and so had to quickly up my security measures. This was easy to install. And feels sturdy and effective.I was concerned that I’d stub my toes on it constantly but it’s low profile enough that that hasn’t happened.It would be annoying to store the top slide down/ in piece but this door is right next to a window- so that lives on the window ledge when not in use.I’m not sure that a fireman would be able to force the door open without serious power.. so it’s a heavy duty back up lock.FYI: it’s got a pink-ish tone to metal. Which I liked. It may not be everyone’s favorite esthetic…Easy to install but does require holes in both the floor AND drilled through the front door.

Hardware is too short.
Barrel screws were too short for my door. I also picked up some washers so I didn't crank them through my door when tightening. I'm sure the door barricade will work well but my only question is, why did you send it to me in rose gold instead of plain stainless steel? I didn't understand that at all.

I sent it back.
I sent it back. Although I fully understand it works well however, when it's not in use, there's no way to store the bracket. So you have this odd piece of metal you don't know what to do with it. They need to figure out a way to have the bracket that slides into the piece attached to the door, stored with the the door piece. It's a good product that needs another pass by an engineer/designer.
