Hi, thanks for your question. No, none of our products emit ozone. They are HEPA filtration only with an optional carbon filter. We do not have unnecessary ionizers, UV lights or electrostatic precipitators. We follow the gold standard of true H13 HEPA filtration with 99.97% efficacy.

Q: Does this come with the carbon filter?

The Smart Health Blast Mini includes a 99.97% HEPA filter but the optional activated carbon filter has to be ordered separately. Thanks for your question!

CADR (cfm) is 443. The air purifier is made in China and has a 3 yr warranty. This is a strong, quiet (49 dBA on high) unit that works great! HEPA filter and Carbon filters are scheduled to last 18-24 months depending on the air quality where you live.

Scary noise

Both of my units make a scary noise that's louder than the actual fan. It reminds of the sound coming out of high voltage transformers. It doesn't feel very safe.
