BERGER Anvil Professional Pruning Shears with Tear Hook

I have always preferred anvil type shears and secateurs and decided these looked strong and well-engineered. However they can sometimes require a bit more effort so at the same time as buying this model – the Berger 4255 Profi Anvil Lopping Shear, I bought the bypass version Berger 4280 as well. Both basically the same tools as the Stihl versions, the Stihl Dynamic Anvil Pruning Shears and the Stihl Extreme Bypass Lopping Shears.On the first test, I used both tools but the anvil 4255 anvil shears seemed to bend and distort quite easily - with the cutting blade moving over to the left under pressure. I cut a few medium thick branches with both tools and the Bypass ones performed a lot better - so I’ve kept them and I expect them to last a good while. The other 4255 Anvil ones were sent back and I used the refund to buy the Felco 231 Curved Anvil 80cm Aluminium Loppers, which seem very good so far – even on the same medium sized branches. Size matters! Sometimes you need to cut through branches which are thicker than normal, but not thick enough for a saw.The Profi Lopper lives up to its name - beautifully crafted from high quality materials, it looks as though it is made to last. Die Berger-Astschere war ein absoluter Volltreffer und ich habe bereits die vergangen Wochen viel Freude damit gehabt. Ich habe eine großen Garten und aktuell besonders viel an Büschen und Ästen, welche ich zurückschneiden muss.Robust und trotzdem leicht macht die Gartenarbeit damit viel Spaß und ist völlig unkompliziert.Die Schere schneidet durch dickste Äste und ist ideal für den Einsatz in Garten und Wald. Der Reißharken erleichtert das Herausziehen von dicken Ästen im Gestrüpp und so kann man ohne Ablegen der Schere schneiden. Trotz großen Einsatz zeigt die Schere kaum Gebrauchsspuren und hat an Schärfe nicht eingebüßt. Der Kauf hat sich jetzt bereits gelohnt und ich kann die Astschere jedem nur empfehlen. Ein tolles Produkt „Made in Germany“.

Hallo, bin ein bisschen von der Schere enttäuscht! In der Schneide sind nach einmaligem Gebrauch schon diverse Katschen, das kenne ich von meiner Löwe-Schere gar nicht!!! Wenn das so weiter geht, dann geht sie zurück!!! Berger Made in Germany???
