Easier on my stomach than other iron formulas. If you're doctor has suggested iron glycinate or bisglycinate this is the compound used. Ferrous sulfate, the old school iron supplement formula, is a lot tougher on the stomach than this stuff. I donate blood regularly and this helps keep my iron content up where it should be with much greater consistency.

At 18 mg it’s perfect for my drs orders. I haven’t retested yet so I don’t know about results, but the amount is perfect. I gave it 4 stars because it has a funky smell.
