Length
This is heavily insulated. It was also the perfect length to run it from the battery on the passenger side to the right rear of the bed for my Gladiator. To the ARB connector that will hang from the rear side wall with a magnet or if I choose to hang it on the side of the refrigerator its self.

Would recommend
Got this to wire into my overland rig for my dometic fridge, I bought the kit with the wire, when ordering I was kinda shocked at the price but when I received it the provided wiring was of quality and heavy gage. I was going to make My own but didn't want to source everything myself. I'm glad I got the kit, it's superb and it probably would have cost the same if I made my own. A ARB sticker included would have been cool

Works Great.
Highly recommended if you want a near plug and play way too power your ARB Fridge/Freezer. Usually all of the accessory wiring in you vehicle is way to small to properly power a Fridge. You either need this item or to put something together together using 8 gauge wire with a fuse going straight to your battery. This kit also comes with a screw-in plug connection (this fits your ARB Fridge plug) so the Fridge plug won't be popping out while you are bouncing down the road. The wire supplied was plenty long enough to mount the Fridge on the rear passenger side of my 4 door Jeep. Since you want to use the shortest wire possible to get to your preferred plug location you will need to cut the plug side of the wiring and install the supplied end clips yourself. I would recommend soldering this connection if you can. The battery connection terminals and fuse holder (with fuse included) are pre-installed and ready to go. This was a simple DIY project and will supply the correct voltage to your ARB Fridge/Freezer.

Best way to power your ARB fridge.
I was having problems powering my fridge in my 2014 4Runner for camping trips. I tried using the factory 12v socket which would work for a time but eventually cause the fridge to fault and shut down. I also ran it from a 12v deep cycle battery in a trolling motor battery box with a 12v socket and while it did work well for the most part it the fridge would take longer to cool down and the cycle times could be very long. Finally I bought one of these ARB power outlets on the recommendation of the guy I bought my fridge from and hard wired it to my deep cycle battery I installed as a starting battery. This solution has worked great. It now has full time power and the socket which is more like a two prong wall outlet seems to power the fridge better and causes the run times to be shorter. I recommend installing one of these to power your fridge.

Close to perfect, cable is short for trucks
It is good, it is sturdy and.... it is short. Unfortunately everything perfect except the length of the cable. Ran out just 2 feet away from connecting it. If you have something bigger than a midsize SUV you will have to either add more cable (make a connection) or buy the cable and the outlet separately.

Must have for portable fridge
I purchased a cheap Joytutus fridge I found on here a while back. I had it plugged into the stock auxiliary outlet, but the fridge kept giving a low voltage error when the vehicle was turned off. I bought this hoping it would work with my cheap fridge (which at this point I was wondering why I didn't just save for an ARB), lucky for me it did. I just had to buy an ARB power cord which worked plugged from the back of my fridge to the ARB outlet. Works great and I haven't gotten a low voltage error since.
