Samsung Galaxy S22+ 5G S906U 128GB GSM/CDMA Unlocked Android Smartphone (USA Version) - Phantom Black (Renewed)

Well, the S22+ is an excellent phone. Yes, I've lost the microSD card and aux port from my S10+, but it's actually faster at everything. Be it loading a game/app or installing updates. This phone doesn't even get warm through my case. The camera is great. These phones are coming with Samsung AI with the OneUI versions it has and updates to. And it should be getting OneUI 7, I believe, this year along with the next Android update.I'd definitely buy it again. Screen looks great. It does better with memory management than my S10+ did, even though both have 8GB RAM.I prefer to get these phones that are 2-3 years old but never used because I save 75-80% on the price of a new phone while being able to do everything that they can do. Then I do it again when the battery life runs down enough to be a hinderance.It's the first Galaxy to introduce the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 line up. And if it matters to anyone, the 128GB model uses UFS 3.1 storage. Quite fast. S10+ was on UFS 2.1, and we know it was fast. This practically doubles all speeds in speed tests... maybe even more so.But, yes, when I swipe the screen, it swipes. No hitches, stutters, glitching, nothing. Same for opening apps. It is ALWAYS... FAST. Battery life? I saw complaints about batter life from reviews a couple of years ago. I think they've fixed a lot of that over the years with updates. I wouldn't say it has the BEST battery life by any means, but it lasts. And if you turn on power saving (the regular power saving option), it really just sips on the battery. Then without power saving, you have 3x levels of power settings to choose from. So far, for me, I've been happy with "Optimized" the lowest level.Anyways, to cut it short, I've had zero issues with the phone. No overheating, no crashes, freezes, glitches, stutters, nothing. It's a great phone, with a great screen and amazing cameras.

I purchased this specifically because it was advertised as unlocked. The model I received is the SM-S906U (carrier-branded), not the true factory unlocked SM-S906U1.however, when I went to activate it on xfinity mobile, they claimed it was not compatible. Even though they use Verizon as the carrier.At the store, the rep explained they had seen this before — the phone is marked as incompatible in Verizon/Xfinity’s system, even though it is advertised as unlocked.This is not a hardware issue; the phone itself supports all bands. The problem is the IMEI is tied to Verizon’s carrier version, which Xfinity’s BYOD program does not allow. Only the U1 factory unlocked model works smoothly with Xfinity Mobile.If you need Xfinity compatibility, do not buy this model — make sure you get S906U1 (Factory Unlocked). Otherwise you risk a lot of frustration. It's been a couple of months since I received the phone, I've already disposed of the original packaging, and don't think I can return it. Complete waste of time and money.

The media could not be loaded. I just got the phone in a few hours ago, it had a little issue with allowing me to log into apps but otherwise it’s a good phone (I think the apps were having issues). For the price and being a refurbished phone it’s 100x better than my current phone, it even came with a screen protector already on. The charger is slow though and due to the prolonged charging there is some overheating but it’s only lukewarm(it’s been on the charger for 2 hours now and is only at 85%)but the phone overall is great for now, I’d just recommend a new charger. If I remember I’ll leave an update in a month or two about how it’s holding up.Update: still working good, sturdy and charges quickly. Still have the charger that came with it and it's doing good to.

I'm happy with my purchase. The phone is in excellent condition. It came with a type c usb (no adapter). The ony thing i find starnge so far is the battery life. Compared to my S10+ this phone seems to die faster. But everything else is good. Good buy

This phone is hands-down the best phone I have ever owned or purchased.It looks and functions exceptional, and has one of the sharpest, clearest screens I have ever seen. Full of useful functions and tools, this phone can not be beat.

The media could not be loaded. The phone is definitely in very good condition. The screen is impeccable... with some minor scratches on the bottom edges, nothing a case can't hide. I haven't activated the operating system yet to check it, but so far everything looks great.

I was hesitant to purchase a refurbished phone but the price difference got me. The phone came packaged like new and appeared like new. Everything works like new. Couldn't be happier
