I would buy it again!
I had trigger finger surgery and used this finger brace to help stretch the finger and prevent stiffness. It works well and has been an important part of my rehab. Highly recommend!

Painful 'cause it works😫
My wonderful hand surgeon recommended these.I hate that it hurts but it makes my fingers, which had been dislocated, broken with ligament damage - straighter (I use them twice a day). Lots of OT things to bend fingers, this is the only device to straighten. Hopefully, over next couple months, I won't need them.Only con - they are a little flimsy, but you hopefully won't need to use them again!

Works OK for my needs. Not terribly high quality.
Everyone will find these to work differently depending on their own needs.Definitely need to double check the sizing. Go by what is found on the company site. The size I ordered worked perfectly for my finger.Quality is questionable for the price. I'm glad I ordered 2 by mistake, as I don't expect them to last very long. A shame for the price paid...The pads are a cheap, closed cell foam looking\feeling material. I expect them to rip\tear apart with repeated use.Tension is roughly adjustable by overextending the spring to get more tension and over compressing it for less. Definitely not exact and it does not seem to hold consistent tension for extended periods. These will work fine for me for the short term, but I will purchase a different product when I find something better. For me, I would probably not buy again.

Orthopedic surgeon approved
I stoved my finger badly enough that it caused a boutonnière deformity on my ring finger. The orthopedic surgeon called in a prescription for a similar splint from a local medical supply store. They took so long to get it in that an employee there pulled up this splint on Amazon & I ordered it right there inside the medical supply store. This splint is $20 lower priced than the one the medical supply store ordered for me, and they took 2.5 weeks to get it in. (I told them no thanks, I’ll keep this one from Amazon.) When I showed this splint to my orthopedic surgeon, he asked me to send him the link for it because he will have his patients order this splint instead of calling in to the medical supply store. At my follow up, I had worn this splint about a week & a half, and he said that my progress is as expected, doing well & keep wearing this splint 24/7 unless my hands are in water, for another 2 weeks or so. Make sure you’re following up with your orthopedic surgeon or other doctor.Just for the record, my finger pain intensified a LOT when I first started wearing the splint, and the swelling increased some too. My doctor said this is normal. The first few nights wearing it were so painful that I’d wake up in the night & take it off at some point. This will get better. By the 3rd night, I could wear it all night. If it hurts when you first start wearing it, take it off for breaks then put it back on.I’m able to do CrossFit with this splint on, modifying movements that require grip.I have to take this splint off to type.I can write with this splint on, but it sucks.

The springs help my finger to move after surgery due to an accident
This product was recommended by my Physical Therapist after having surgery due to cutting my fingers with a table saw. The surgeon used the best parts of my pointer and middle fingers and created one finger. The Rolyan Sof-Stretch Extension Splint allows me to bend that finger to grasp and pick things up. The foam pads are soft enough so as not to hurt. I did not experience the pads falling off as some reviewers stated. When reordering 4 large sizes, I incorrectly received 2 large, 1 medium, and 1 small. The SM and MED were sent back (free shipping) for replacement. Unfortunately, the outside of the individual packages were marked Large, but the contents did not match. Seller's quality control should review the stock on hand and correct errors before sending them out to customers.

Highly Recommend!
Varsity football WR Approved!PT recommended, 4mnths post surgery, as boutonniere deformity began setting in to pinky finger.Size C is was the perfect fit for his PINKY FINGER (6'4" and 175lbs).Thankfully, these can be slightly adjusted/ tightened (by PT), once worn/straightened out.Ps...Yes, it is made of Styrofoam like material.BUT! Nothing as horrible as the negative reviews give it. Trust me, I'd definitely tell you the truth when it comes to my kiddos and my money lol.5/5 STARS!
