Needed a short extension for my keyboard and this cable works perfectly. It’s well-made, flexible without feeling flimsy, and has solid connection points. Transfer speeds are fast—no noticeable lag. I only needed to cover a short gap so I bought the 1ft length for my needs which came as expected.

I bought the short 12 inch extenders because the all-in-one HP we got at Amazon only has USB SS sockets at the back of the screen. The USB cables hang down behind the device. The multi-media hub that came with the unit only has a 6 inch integrated cable. It plugs in & now has flexibility in where I put it. The other cable is for future uses. The cables themselves are really well made. The silver-black woven sheathing makes them smooth & easy to bend or position. The USB plugs are excellent & click in place. We are really pleased with these extensions.

OK, what I have learned about USB ports and cables is that both can get worn and/or dirty. USB ports in cars are generally lower quality than computer ports but both can easily become problematic and then quality cables can sometimes make everything work better but also a shot of electronic safe solvent on both the cable and the port can fix it. Try not to blame anything until you clean them and try different cables to see what works best. That said, I used this CableCreation cable in a problematic USB port on my laptop and it works perfectly where other cables even if they worked if you breathed on them you could lose the connection or get distortion. With the 90 degree bend, it keeps the cable from less contact as I use the computer so that is also a plus. We'll see how long it lasts but what an improvement over other cables I have tried. As a mechanical engineer, the 90 degree cable is a great idea to keep stress off your cables and these cables seem very high quality. Highly recommended!

First the good. This is a well constructed product that works really well. If you don't care about the things I cared about, then they are for you. Also, keep in mind just how short 1 foot is. They aren't long at all. The issue I had is that they faced the wrong direction. The cord has a nice 90 degree angle which is why I got them. What I didn't think about at the time was that USB ports (except USBC) only go in one way. You can't flip them. I needed the elbow to send the cord to the left but it only went to the right. That's not the fault of the cord, I know, but it is something to keep in mind that I did not until I plugged it in. For my intended use, this made them not work for me. They may work for you, just be aware of how your USB port is facing on your computer.

Very good so far! I purchased this item to use with my USB sticks to transfer embroidery designs from computer to embroidery machine. Works great and going to purchase another one for my computer. This helps to preserve the usb ports especially on an expensive Happy 7 Needle Journey machine. Would work well for one needle embroidery machines I believe. Only had it a few days so I can't tell you how long it will last or how much it holds. Kudos!

This is a very good cable.

Used these for easy access to the usb ports on the back of my monitor. Now I don't have to use a flashlight to find the ports.

I was looking for a USB 3.0 short extension for some devices like SD card readers or WIFI adapters that were too big to fit in some tight situations. My biggest concern was about speed slowing down. I can safely say that there is ZERO speed slow down. These cables just work and they are machined perfectly. The quality is very nice. - I tested using a Samsung 840 PRO 256GB SATA SSD in an ineo T2566-II enclosure. - Before and after speed timings were nearly identical and within margin of error. (The timings with the extender were actually marginally faster instead of dropping, but again, this is within the margin of error). - See attached screenshot. I was afraid of some of the posts about not working out of box or slowing things down, but for my purposes, these just work. Perhaps with an NVME SSD in a USB 3.0 enclosure someone could test the limits of the interface to see if this slows things down, but I am very happy with this product.

I use this to play music off a usb with my car's audio system (I am against using a phone while driving). The usb port in my car is in a stupid location near where the passengers knee may hit, hence why I purchased a L-shaped usb cable. It has worked well so far.

I don’t believe I ever spent a min to leave these folks some reviews - although now that I’m looking around I have a number USB, HDMI etc from this vendor! And, I am very difficult to become impressed but will be choosing this brand for all my cables’ needs!! Very good quality, nice packaging / presentation and never ever received a used / returned product from them. Maybe, when customers send back their items, they try to check everything and make them like new. Either way, they’ve done great so far and I am very happy with them. FWIW, I have purchased similar products from other sellers and received not as advertised or not presentable!! So, yes ... shockingly there are still vendors / manufactures from other side of universe that make excellent products and know how to take care of each and every little detail and even sell them the same price as others - but they are smart to know they’re gonna have “return customers” - unlike other brands!
