I am having a hip replacement in 2 weeks and needed to get a cane for before and after surgery. The handle is a T-shape or L Shape as opposed to the rounded top old-fashioned canes. This provides more stability. Additionally, the handle has a rubberized handle to prevent slipping while also providing an ease-of-use grip.The cane is sturdy. The size of the cane is convenient for putting in a suitcase and transporting for travel. Also, the increments for raising and lowering the cane ensure the right fit.I don't right many reviews but I was highly impressed with this cane and wanted to share my experience.Dr. JDoctor of Business Administration

Rigid and not flimsy at all. Very comfortable. Once height is set, it locks into place. Aside from all of that, it looks good too.

It's fine. While I don't need it regularly I do on occasion. It's got a soft handle so it's easy to grab and hold and it very sturdy so when my vertigo hits it feels so reliable. While I'd like a cane with all those lion's heads or dragons or whatever after using this I don't. It's meant for function and convenience and not to show off. It delivers

Spent a lot of time researching to find this one. It’s easy on the hands: the grip is covered with rubber, it’s ergonomic, sturdy, light, comfortable. Lost it in a taxi in Paris and it was so much better than the one I had to buy there. The handle on the new one was not covered with rubber so my hand slipped all the time and it was thinner (including the tip) making it unstable. As soon as I returned, I ordered this one again from Amazon.

I have had several of these canes. I have lost several over the years by leaving it leaning against my car, or at the store in a shopping cart. My bad! The product is durable; it should easily last several years if you #1 don't lose it like me and #2 keep a fresh rubber tip on it. I push down pretty hard on my cane and the handle has a soft rubber grip that doesn't flex too much and it helps make my hand and wrist more comfortable. I have severe stenosis of my lumbar spine and I am bent forward when I walk. My cane helps me to straighten up. Sometimes, if I know I'll be walking a lot, I use 2 canes and it helps me even more. I like the way my canes swing as I walk. I have tried some canes that have a larger, 3 pads footprint, but they take a lot more effort from my wrist to try to get them to swing as I go. The Carex cane I use reminds me of the ski poles I used to use that were designed to swing quickly because of the balance and light weight. These canes give me the support I need and their light weight and strength are a huge plus for me.

This is fantastic. Nice look,and solid built. Is adjustable but no wriggling about. Great support and lightweight.

Bought this for my mom for Christmas. Good price point compared to buying it retail or from a pharmacy. She likes the blue color and it is very sturdy and also extends long enough. She is pretty tall and the height is perfect.
