Perfect in our living room! We could never see the appliance clocks hidden by our kitchen countertop and now we can see the time easily from our couch. I purchased the black clock with red illuminated numbers which is easy to see, the black blends into the TV sound bar and looks like it's a part of the TV. The numbers are just the right size. Keeps perfect time. I like the battery operated, no cords. Perfect!

Great little clock. Nothing fancy, just good size numbers and brightness. Simply to use.

I bought this for my mother's TV stand because she no longer has a cable box with a clock. I can see it clearly, but my mother's vision isn't what it used to be and she says she can't see it clearly. We'll be keeping it. Once she has cataract surgery I believe she'll be able to see clearly again. It's a good little battery operated clock. It keeps good time and I feel that black with white numbers is the best contrast. Also, battery operated was important reason to select this as there aren't anymore electrical outlets near her TV to plug the clock into. As for the 4 star rating, well, I don't give anybody 5 stars. It would have to be manufactured in the USA for that.

Well made easy to set up love the blue digital color and easy to read in the dark. Happy with this purchase just what I wanted.

Three years ago, I needed a simple digital clock and chose this one. This clock is so good, I decided to buy a second one! Here are the positives (can't think of negatives): a) digital clock with an alarm that stays accurate until the next battery change b) super intuitive operation -- you won't need to find the instructions if you need to reset the time c) runs on 4 AA batteries and is low drainage. My Duracells only need replacing about every 18 months d) when the batteries run down, the indication is that the numerals grow dim rather than simply shutting the clock down (this is good in emergency situations) e) can be used in a bedroom without it lighting it up the entire room when it is dark. I have the green numerals and keep it on "low" display f) small enough to slide in anywhere with a simple classic exterior that doesn't call attention to itself g) good sized numerals that can easily be read across the room. The size of the numerals is not too large, however, and doesn't draw attention to itself h) super inexpensive without being cheap i) very lightweight and portable. On occasion, I have taken this out of my bedroom and used it in another location (outside). That's why I decided it was just better to get a second one!

FINALLY! A small clock for my nightstand that truly has an adjustable display! I can't say how many clocks I have had only to reluctantly realize the brightness is something I have to deal with (I like the room very dark when I sleep). The display on this clock is really adjustable and the low setting is absolute perfection! It's small and basic (yet does have an alarm) and is exactly what I've been searching for at a great price! Easy to set up and great quality too!

I missed having an old school looking alarm clock like back in the 90s. Here it is. But with the added awesome feature of taking batteries. I love that this has no smart features or charging ports. Just simple as a couple batteries and setting the time. Give the OG feel with the OG simplicity too. Power goes out? No problem. Phone update in middle of not and alarm not go off? Good thing you got this. Traveling? Take this with ya. Quality is thin and lightweight plastic. Adaptable brightness for visibility. I’ve never had an issue with getting warm or hot so I would not consider this any kind of fire hazard.

This is a really nice battery, digital clock requiring 4 AA batteries. The only issue I have with this clock is the difficult to find by feel the alarm on/off button which is flush mounted on the back of the clock along with 3 other small buttons(3/16 ths). I found on Amazon a collection of clear, plastic stick on feet of different sizes. The smallest one fit the flush mounted button perfectly so I can now find the alarm on/off button by feel in the dark. I am using rechargeable AA lithium ion batteries that have become available in the last year or so on line. These are 1.5 volt cells so they are similar to regular alkaline batteries that are supposed to last a year. The hard to find without looking alarm button is the only reason I went with 4 stars.
