Q: What's the real world battery life? 3 days... 5 days?

If all you use it for is general step count and sleep monitoring etc then I would say 5 days. If using it regularly for its GPS, ie running, cycling, hiking etc then I would say 3 days. Turning off other functions like it waking up when you lift your wrist could lengthen battery life. I had a Fitbit Sense before this and that only lasted 2 days after only a few months. That was one of the reasons for getting a Garmin.

Q: Can you change the screen numbers colours ?

There are lots of choices of clock faces in the connect iq app. Some are free, some have a small fee. You can also change activity data from black on white to white on black.
