I collect high end flashlights with true lumen ratings output. I wanted a better bulb for my backyard so i can see my dogs better when they're outside. I seen this 6k lumen bulb and thought I'ma give it a try.No lie, this bulb is not a joke. I believe it's true to its lumen rating and it almost turns my back yard into daylight... almost. It even lights up the trees a good bit and my neighbors fences and houses a decent amount. (I think they're gonna hate me soon). When my girl turned it on, she called me on the phone and said the exact same thing... "I think or neighbors are gonna hate us." In the far distance, it's visually brighter for your eyes than it is in the picture i took as my camera dims the brightness. But, it'll give you a good idea.If you want an excellent bulb to really light things up this was well worth the price. Hopefully it last near 50,000 hours or so most led's are rated for. Time will tell. If i get even just a year use out of it though i will rebuy it again when it goes out.I will post a picture i took the first night. It's roughly about 150 feet from where my bulb is to the woodline at the very back of my yard and almost 200 feet to the same woodline on the far right of my yard to my neighbors fence.

OMG this is so bright. I have a small one car garage. Installed this in the wall-switch controlled bare-bulb fixture in the center of the ceiling. Really brilliant, even distribution of light, not annoying at all. The garage is a mess and I would get frustrated trying to find things. This helps so much! Cleaning and organizing my near-horader status garage might be an attainable goal! I'd love to put one in the garage door opener's light fixture too. I'll need to make sure it'll fit. Haven't noticed any flickering.

Awesome for the garage I have, for a single car garage it works wonders and now I have 2 for the 2 car garage I am in and it makes it bright as day! They have been consistent and haven't flicker or failed on me yet having owned one for about a year now. The color doesn't add any odd shades or tint so I appreciate that. Wouldn't recommend any application that isn't away from your normal view range(mine are in the ceiling sockets) because they are very bright! They are pricey but excellent if you work projects in the garage at night or need to light up and large dark space. They do get very hot so keep flammable away I'd assume.

I bought this for my workshop. It fit perfectly in a standard socket. There is no fixture so size is not an issue. It hangs upside down and casts a hot, white, 360`shadow-free beam of light.

Do not buy Sansi products. They have good color and brightness, but eventually they will die, start flashing, or exhibit other problems. I have purchased dozens and dozens of bulbs over the years after their warranty process was painless when my first bulb died. Now, I have had problems with countless bulbs, the warranty process is difficult, and they require you to pay shipping to receive replacements. This is ludicrous and has forced me to stop buying their bulbs. They claim 5 year warranty and 22.5 year lifespan but this is not true. Many of the bulbs will fail far quicker than just the 5 years. They require me to send videos of the bulbs not working which is silly, and having to pay for shipping when I didn't get a product as advertised is almost criminal. Especially when the replacement is just going to die as well. I used to love this company's bulbs but now I have had enough of this brand.

This bulb is bright but it shines mainly up, not out the side. I put it in a dining room fixturewith frosted glass and the bulb lights up the top inch of the glass and the ceiling leavingthe bottom 75% of the glass looking dark.
