GARBAGE TUBES!! BOTH Tubes IMMEDIATELY LEAKED at the Valve Stems!! (Times TWO!!!)
My 22 year old son took one rim, and I the other, and despite doing this in the past we both STRUGGLED to get the tires on!! Fortunately I already had several additional tire levers on hand and we needed ALL OF THEM to get these tires on.Once (FINALLY!) getting both of the tires on, the son takes them to the compressor to fill up the tubes, and comes back with that "look" on his face!! - - Turns out that BOTH TUBES were POURING AIR OUT AT THE VALVE STEMS almost as quickly as it was being put in! I went and played with them, and the exact same results. No matter what either one of us did, the air was coming out from the stems, almost as quickly as we were (attempting to) inflate them! (I even checked the valve stem cores to make sure they were tight, but the escaping air was not originating form the valve stem core, but rather from the valve stem itself!!Bottom Line: POOR QUALITY CONTROL, and probably best not to be tempted by the low price!Well, this is my "REVISED REVIEW" post receiving a SECOND SET of these to replace the JUNK 1st Set!QUICK QUESTION - - WHAT is YOUR TIME WORTH!!? - - It should NOT take 3 Adult Men, working with FIVE TIRE LEVERS to put on a tire, unless of course the Tires (and tubes) are absolute JUNK (imo). And for the SECOND TIME, attempts to put air into the tubes resulted in the air pouring out through the valve stems as fast as the air compressor was attempting to put it in! Since we got TWO LEMONS in a row, I've opted to just get a refund, and spent an additional $20-$30 to get something of superior quality, and something that doesn't leave 3 of us (all bike riders) totally frustrated re our attempts to do something as (seemingly) simple as installing a set of bicycle tires on a rim.
