Good Quality but know what you're buying
This product seems to be well made, solid, well machined, and exactly what it says it is. It is only accurate, per their specifications, to 0.05mm, which is around 0.0019 inches. Not highly accurate, but for small CNC movements, should be fine if you know what your tolerances are. The NEMA11 stepper isn't capable of holding/moving much weight, only around 5-7 pounds, depending on your orientation. It is a lead screw setup, not a ballscrew, so there is some play, but it seems to be VERY minimal. Overall, this is a nice product for a decent price, just make sure the specs meet your needs and I think you're going to be happy with the outcome.

Not the most precise unit available
The media could not be loaded. It took me awhile to get this working as I started by using an Adruino as a controller. I asked a question from the seller, but they didn't seem to know anything and just told me the nema specifications for the mototr. It's like they don't understand that the nema spec just identifies the size of the motor mount. I ended up obtaining a stand alone drive controller and ended up getting this to work well. The movement of the unit is smooth, although there isn't a lot of torque and moving anything of significant size wont work, but for simple lateral movements this unit should suffice. The main issue I have with it is the play in the shaft. When switching from forward to reverse, it requires a couple steps of movement before the arm starts moving again due to play in the shaft mounting to the motor. It appears that this is due to some play in the motor itself, which you can see by simply moving the shaft within the housing.I disassembled the unit as well, and it appears that the threads in the head unit are plastic. This doesn't seem to cause an issue with movement, however I imagine they might wear over time.If you are going to use this in a CNC or 3D printer, I don't think this is the device for you, however if you simply intend to manually move something using a potentiometer, this will work OK so long as you understand that there is some play in the shaft.

Failed
Quit after just 1 months,Quality too poor.apparently it can’t be used in the elements or I just got a poorly sealed actuator.

Linear rail
This linear rail is well made and built pretty tough. It has very little play in the rail and the leadscrew. However it is not a super high tolerance part. It will be good for hobby grade projects but may not be accurate enough for high accuracy applications. The aluminum and steel construction is very strong and the machining and finish are high quality. The included stepper motor is plenty strong enough for this application.Overall this is a nice linear rail setup for the price. I can definitely recommend it.

Good quality
No complaints here, it is well-made, lightweight, and works just fine for the project I have in mind. Happy with it and no issues to report as of now!

Decent hobbyist linear actuator, not precision
This actuator may be precise enough for low end hobbyist CNC engraving but is not nearly precise enough for mid-grade or better machines. The NEMA 11 motor will struggle with higher loads and the screwlead actuator is always a slower option. Hobby robotics, CNC, 3D printing, etc will likely be satisfied with this addition. Low power draw is a primary benefit to this unit. The actuator is smooth and travel is decent, with some modifications to the carriage more precision is likely possible.

Works as it should.
I got this for a wood cnc that I'm building, it works as it should.
