This set of bits made the job much easier when threading the copper tubing. The fit is perfect, and we had no issues with refrigerant leaks or anything like that. Definitely a tool worth having if you work with HVAC systems.

Worked well with no leaks on a mini split installed . I did get (2) 1/4 flare instead of a 3/8 unfortunately though .

Cuando hace la expansión le falta más para que la tubería entre una dentro de la otra, debería tener un tamaño un poco más ancho cada expansor

these will not fit standard 1/4 inch drills ,I even tried removing the paint to help the issue they are defective/blemished/seconds , call what you want! do not buy these for a standard 1/4 inch drill

For the money it really doesn’t get any better. My father purchased another kind of flaring tool and had to return it due to poor quality, that is not the case here. These are great. I had a set when I was a technician in the field and needed these in order to install some mini split systems and could not be more happy with this set. Very easy to use and built well. I don’t think you can get such a good product for the money.

I tried one of the clamp style flaring tools but it didn't work well on the smaller copper tubes. These worked very well on my A/C install, particularly the 1/4" one. TIP: get some scrap and practice about 6 to 10 times. This not only burns off the power coating and polishes up the bit giving you a better flare, it also means that by the time you do the flare that counts you have more experience.
