I had to use this on my staffy mix for about 2 years because the amount of garbage, chicken bones and other items on the ground was insufferable. Couldn't take 2 steps without her finding something to chow down on. Unless I wanted to say "leave it" every 2 mins I wasn't going to be able to walk her. This changed that. I did a lot of desensitization work beforehand to get her used to a muzzle prior to using this. While using other ones she figured out how to get food through a small hole anyways. Because this one has a secondary wall inside between the nose/mouth and the front of the muzzle it stops them from pushing food through the holes. She was still able to pant and drink water with it on so ample room so it can be worn for extended periods of time. It is plastic, mildly malleable but sturdy otherwise. I don't suggest using this for dogs that bite, as it isn't hardcore secure on their muzzle. There being only one strap that goes behind the ears. But great for those that you're working through scavenging habits with. Not a permanent solution, but a good temporary one.

Classica museruola ben fatta ottimi i materiali plastica robusta non rigida e non puzza di petrolio! Ho acquistato questa museruola non per un cane agressivo ma da far indossare quando si va in posti nuovi per evitare di far incurgitare bocconi avvelenati o qualsiasi cosa nociva al cane qualora purtroppo ci fosse! Ha una comoda linguetta estraibile che impedisce al cane di mangiare e savaguardagli il naso e la bocca in caso venga a contatto con nateriale pericoloso vetri sporcizia varia e con la processionaria che con questo caldo e presente nei prati vicino agli alberi. La linguetta serve anche ad aumentare lo spazio a disposizione della bocca del cane qualora la museruola risulti stretta, le misure sono molto chiare e corrispondono al vero io per un border ho acquistato la 6, prima di effettuare l acquisto misurate la lunghezza e la circonferenza della muso con un metro da sarta. All inizio al cane non piacera l idea della museruola quindi va fatta prendere come un gioco e inserita per gradi premiandolo e gratificandolo favendogli capire che e tutto positivo.

I bought this muzzle for my first dog years ago so when I needed a second one for my new dog I didn’t hesitate to get the same muzzle for her. Keeps my naughty pups from eating mulch and other non edible items in the yard but allows them pant and breath freely, doesn’t come off and is light weight and comfortable for them to wear. The original one I bought 4 years ago is still going strong too - well worth the money.
