I was surprised at how well this worked! It was very easy to use and super fast. I got this to make pressed flower bookmarks while we were at our cabin, and it was a hit. I’m still trying to figure out how to press flowers with super thin petals because they are so delicate that I broke them trying to take them out, however, most of the flowers and leave pressed and dried perfectly! The greenery presses FLAWLESSLY. It does smell badly a bit when you are “cooking” them… but it didn’t hinder the process. I forgot to take photos, but will try to add some later. It is a perfect size and would be good for all ages.

Very cool, much easier to make dry flowers for my artwork. Only downside is that the elastic band (it only comes with one) stretches out very quickly and the plates warp easily. The warping could be prevented if it had 2 straps. I will probably just buy some wide elastic and make my own tension straps.

I grow a few flowers every year and used to use paper between heavy books. This took weeks/months to dry and sometimes, they molded. This press is so easy to use and the results are great. fFlowers also that retain their color. I am careful with flowers that have a lot of moisture in them, but still, I have done roses and other delicate flowers. Follow the instructions for best results. One of my favorite things!

What a cool device! You definitely have to be careful to not overdo the timing, but the directions are good, easy to clean and easy to use. I was very into this last fall for drying leaves but preserving vibrant colors. I swear some of them became more vibrant when I used this. I have not gotten around to trying out flowers yet. It is small which is nice for storage, but means you are limited in how many you can do at once, but I think that is ultimately for the best because if it were bigger it might be hard to get consistency across a single microwave.

There’s a real learning curve to this thing and it seems to have no rhyme or reason when it scorches! Mostly if you keep it in small increments and let it breathe in between it does ok, but then randomly it will burn even if the flower isn’t dry. I don’t get it. It worked for my purpose but you should do some testing!

This is a good idea if you don't want yo wait months for the traditional pressing method. But, it also takes some time to learn not to fry your flowers. I realized not to practice on a gorgeous flower that I only had one. I'm getting better. The kit has good instructions and is priced well.

I took a chance on this, having had no experience with flower drying outside of the usual "stick it in a book & hope for the best". After watching a few video tutorials online, I had a better idea of how to use it but the instructions follow the same steps so it's pretty intuitive. Tips: DO spritz the felt pads before you start. Sounds counter-intuitive but if they're not a touch damp, I suspect the flowers will burn rather than dry. DO go in short bursts - I have a regular kitchen microwave (1100? 1200? high wattage, not a mini one). The instructions say "100 seconds" but that's for a much smaller microwave (700w). I started with 30 seconds & went from there DO take the packet out after each burst, dry the plastic parts off, let it cool a few seconds, re-seal it & turn it over for each consecutive burst. DO be careful - the packet creates steam which is way hotter than you think so be cautious when you open it and touch the pads. DON'T try to pull the flowers off the linen!!! really, seriously don't or you'll ruin your hard work. Open the packet, let it cool a second and then, if any are stuck to the fabric, you can gently pull/stretch the fabric - grab opposing corners & just stretch it, turn & stretch again - you'll see the flowers come off quite easily and don't break. I'll be happy to get some more experience with it. Unfortunately, the first flowers I used gave me a terrible allergy attack so I've been a bit unwilling to try it again. It's asking about "suitability of the toy for the age" but IDK if I'd consider this a toy. That said, I think people as young as ~10-12 yrs old could work with this if they were interested. You'd want to be sure they understand microwave safety (i.e., don't put the package in for too long and remember it's HOT) and have the patience to handle the delicate dried pieces. I'm looking forward to using these in my crafts - cards, jewelry (I put the dried flowers into cured resin), etc.

とても良い。熱処理することで虫の駆除ができて早く綺麗にできる。 同時に押し花キットを買ったのですが花束から押し花にしたのですがそちらは小さな虫が出てきていて 先にレンジでこの商品で熱処理してから押し花キットに挟むと保存もできるし良いなと思い 沢山作ることができました。お勧めできます。ただもう少し大きいか二段になっているものを買うと効率的だったかなとも思いました。お値段が結構するので躊躇しましたが虫は嫌なので熱処理できる点はとても嬉しいです。
