This pop-up is a game changer. I have two resident cats, but I also foster kittens.When there is a storm warning, I have to bring my resident cats into the basement. However, it's an unfinished basement, so they can't wander around down there, or they might get stuck in the crawl space, or in the basement ceiling/floorboards. By putting them in this tent, they have space to stretch out, use the litter box, and not be terrified.When I foster, I'm able to have the kittens confined to the room where I am, without the need for constant supervision. They have one room for the litter box, and another for the food, and they can play in either of the rooms. One room has mesh, so they can see the outside world, and the other has opaque sides for privacy.There also is an included waterproof hard bottom for each room, and a case for carrying the tent.

I foster kittens and bought this as a way to keep them contained when they’re smaller and it’s not safe to let them have access to the room they’re in. This worked fantastic! I was able to keep their litter box separate from their sleeping area and food and was able to open the top to scoop boxes and change bedding and food. The liners for the floors make it so much easier to clean. I still put potty pads down but any accidents were easy to handle because I could take that out and wash it.The zippered doors on each end work well to let them have access to the room and before I took this out, I had both doors open so they still had a safe and familiar place while they got the hang of the full room.

I got very excited when I saw this double playpen because I foster infant kittens from Spring until about Christmas and I have been wanting a product just like this forever, where I could put their litter box on one side and they would have the whole other side for sleep and playtime. From this aspect, I LOVE this product!Other really awesome features include that one side that has a mesh door and windows, but the other side is completely enclosed (with a zipper door and top for access). This is a great space for the litter box. I ordered the medium and it is bigger than I expected which is a bonus. There is plenty of room for the litterbox, a small cave-bed , a turbo track, wrestling space - and still room to grow. The pen is easy to set up and actually very easy to fold (something not often the case with pop-ups) so again, these features are all fantastic. A foster mom's dream come true, honestly.Unfortunately, once it is set up the support is quite disappointing. Right now I have 3 three-week-old kittens that only weigh between 10-12 oz each. This morning one tried climbing the mesh and the side folded in on him. And I usually cover my playpens during sleep time, but when I put the lightweight, blanket over it, the sides bent in from the weight of a really thin, fleece, lap-throw type of blanket that doesn't even cover the whole thing. (see photos)Also, other playpens I've had in the past have been made from heavier, canvas-type fabric that lasts a long time, even with a lot of abuse. This one is a thin, nylon kind of fabric that makes it very lightweight, easy to fold and get back in its carry case for sure, but I doubt it will last very long at all with little claws running around and climbing the walls.I am only giving this product 3 stars because support and durability are very important when fostering kittens and I am quite confident the strength and material of this pen will not survive normal wear-and-tear from my kittens when they get bigger...which is really when I will need the extra space. I would prefer something that takes more effort to fold if it means getting higher quality materials and support. These things really need to be amped up to justify the current price of $99.Overall I am still glad I bought this playpen, but for what I paid I just wish it was constructed with more support and durability.

This is great for day trips with my two cats. I had a smaller pen when they were kittens but if they were spending most of the day inside of it I wanted them to have more space, so I bought this product. I place the litter box in the side with the more opaque top and blankets/food/toys in the side with the mesh top, giving them options of where they want to be. I take them to school and if they want to interact with students they can play in the mesh side and if they want quiet time they can move to the opaque side.It came with two collapsible tarps to keep the bottom dry if you're on wet ground, which is a nice option. It also came with a carrying case that is so convenient!I'm pretty sure I never fold it up quite right, but that's a me-thing. It always gets folded and fits neatly in the carrier and takes less than 10 seconds to set up.I like that there are doors that unzip and fold up on both ends for when I'm introducing them to a new environment but still want them to have access to their litter, food, and safe space.

I have no problem with setting up but taking back down was a problem trying to fold up the round floor pieces. However it’s large enough for the 3 kittens when they are grown. Very sturdy.

This was perfect solution for hurricane evacuation to another home with several dogs. Was able to set it up in minutes. Put food/water in one area and litter in the other. Top opening option is awesome. Enough room for 3 cats to be in emergency situation and not have to stay in cages. Easy take down and clean up of flooring. Easily stored but hope it isn't needed again soon!!!
