Q: "Built strong from galvanized steel" What parts of this stove are Galvanized? Does't galvanized metal put off a toxic gas when heated?

zinc toxicity from galvanize occurs at 392 farenheight or 200 celcius. this would not be safe for cooking or heating potable water. if you absolutly must use it have it sandblasted first and just paint it with high temp bbq paint or leave it raw

Safe? Yes, the pipe has no correlation with how safe it will perform. As a word of caution, I would carefully consider the dimensions of the stove. I did not and was surprised at how small it actually is.

Q: my garage is 30/30 with a insulated ceiling would this be stove be efficient to keep it comfortable? I already have a vent pipe thru the roof .

Depends on how cold your winters are, how much insulation is in your walls and ceiling and how tall you ceilings are. I'd say in most cases this would not be sufficient for a almost 1000 sqft garage.
