Q: Can a headboard AND footboard be attached?

The frame has headboard attachments but nothing for a footboard.

Q: How high off the floor is the bottom of the frame?

I installed this frame for a seldom-used guest room bed. Here are two figures— bearing in mind that the bed is set up on wall-to-wall carpeting with about .25” ‘give’ at the bottom. From the floor to the bottom of the frame is 6”, if you’re thinking about sliding a storage drawer underneath the bed. But for figuring the ‘drop’ for a bed skirt — i.e. from just underneath the mattress down to the floor — i give it 7 inches. It’s surprisingly sturdy for the price, and the fact that it’s held together by gravity and friction/pressure.

Q: can I attach a headboard to this frame?

Yes, depending on the headboard. My wife and I bought a new headboard and the holes did not line up. It wasn’t that big a deal, we just had to drill new ones. This doesn’t mean you’ll have the same issue, but just a heads up.

This was totally easy to put together. Small/minimal, simple. Just like I wanted, and stuff could go under the bed now if needed.

Easy setup, sturdy

Very easy setup. Might’ve taken me a total of 5 minutes. Can’t beat the price on this one!Kid moved out after college & am using this as a platform bed to replace an 11yo captain’s bed. Used the boards from the old frame to cover the empty spaces so the nice hybrid mattress doesn’t fall through. Those boards are about 1/4” too big for the frame but they still work. Bed will only be used a total of maybe 4 nights/year, anyway.Had younger kid get on the bed & they even bounced around a bit, said it was comfortable.Now to make the headboard.. Who knew all it would take to finally reorganize and redecorate the room was to get my kid to move out after college? LOL
