Have it set in my basement, it kicks the fan on at 76 degrees and turns off at 74. Have multiple computers running in basement that put out quite a bit of heat is the reason using it in the winter. This attic fan thermostat is an exact replacement for my attic fan that I bought at Home Depot over 12 years ago. The fan is still running after 12 years, it just needed a new thermostat. It is very easy to replace by any home owner. That is a very good product to last all this time. It was great to find it on Amazon after 12 years. I am sure it has been upgraded internally over the years.

I used it for turning on an attic fan. The setting knob is small and needs a screwdriver to adjust. It seems to be accurate. The case is flimsy and needs to be mounted with unit “hanging” out in space. Probably makes sense because it exposed to the air and not to the mounting structure. Good only for remote mounting and not when constant adjustments are needed.

This is an exact replacement for my Home Depot fan which was installed 12 years ago.

My original attic fan controller failed to turn off. I replaced it with this unit. The price was less than other brands, for what I am certain is an identical unit despite different badges. I mean, just how many manufactures of this simple item can there be? Disappointed it does not also sense humidity, but just switches on temperature. So far it works, but I haven't been thru a summer with it yet. Will circle back if there are problems.

Very simple device. Build appears to be adequate for the price. Not yet installed but tested with volt meter, not rocket science.Happy to report this is one shipment the USPS didn't lose or send to exotic places probably because it was shipped using UPS.
