GREAT BUY
Love this knife if you are a person who loves big knives or you’re a bigger guy who is looking for a knife that doesn’t feel small and petite in your hand. This is the one I have carried this knife around but now for over a year and I’m coming back to write a review because this thing has kept a blade it will sharpen very easily And it has with stood the testing of construction business as I am an independent small business owner and I use this thing daily. I literally take it everywhere. It’s a great product.

A good, heavy, sharp folding knife for outdoor use
The media could not be loaded. This knife is *not* marketed as an every day carry (EDC) and I acquired it with the expectation that I'd use it occasionally for camping and the like, just as it's intended to be used. I Have a Kershaw for EDC purposes that suits me just fine. When it arrived and I unboxed it, it's size reinforced that thought. It's longer than my Kershaw, heavier, and thicker. (I posted images of this knife beside my Kershaw for comparison.) I was expecting it to feel that difference in my pocket too, but to my surprise, it felt no different, at least not in heavy jeans. (It's definitely noticeable in light-weight summer clothing like shorts, though.) It's beefy and rugged, exactly as you'd expect from a knife designed to be used in rugged outdoor environments. It fills my hand better than my EDC, which is important for a knife designed for rugged use to do. The finger grooves are just the right size and in just the right places. it's strong, and there's a certain sense of satisfaction that comes from giving the flipper a firm tug with my index finger and feeling the heavier blade snap from the body ball-bearing smooth and securely lock into the open position with a pleasant, reassuring click. It's a satisfying knife to operate and it looks masculine and meaty. It's not a spring assist, but so what? It doesn't need to be. It operates fine without assist. The shape and tension of the clip is just right. The knife draws smoothly from my pocket, never getting hung up on my pants but also not moving around in my pocket as I move. The blade is plenty sharp too, and of a reasonable material for a knife in this price range. The so-called seat belt cutter - which would be better marketed as a fishing line or string cutter (that nice, sharp 3.74 inch blade is a far superior seat belt cutter than what's built into the handle) is a separate blade that's permanently built into the body of the knife and can't be sharpened. Once that blade gets dull, it's useless.A folding knife that gets used a lot should draw from your pocket such that it takes minimal effort and time to deploy the blade. I was disappointed to see that this knife wasn't drilled and tapped at all four corners to allow the pocket clip to be moved to the optimal position to match the user's preference. To get this knife oriented properly to operate the blade flipper, you have to draw it, rotate it 180 degrees, then flip it end-for-end. Because my Kershaw EDC is tapped at all four corners, I was able to move the clip on that knife to the spot that places my index finger exactly where it needs to be the moment the knife clears my pocket. No twisting, no flipping. But for a knife that gets only occasional use - like this one probably will - that's probably nothing more than an annoyance. It really bugged me though, because my EDC doesn't require such machinations, and with a tiny bit more attention to detail, this knife could have been the same.I've had two copies of this knife in-hand. The locking mechanism on one operated smoothly, but not so on the other one. The mechanism seems to be just a touch too long and gets hung-up a bit when pushing aside to allow the blade to close. It's an annoyance but not a deal breaker, and might even resolve itself after a bit of use.The knife comes with a nylon carrying case intended to be hung from a belt. It's not remarkable one way or the other. I never use these though.NOTE: A previous reviewer observed that this knife comes with a wrench intended to remove the belt clip screws. That is not the intended purpose of the included wrench and it won't fit those screws. The wrench is intended to adjust the tension of the screw that clamps the blade into the body. Over time, this screw could probably loosen a bit. It's a nice touch to include this wrench.CONCLUSION: All things considered though, this is a fine, rugged, beefy folder that does what it's intended to do. If you're looking for an EDC knife though, you should probably keep looking.
